Sort of in the spirit of "jumping the shark," have there been wrestlers or wrestling personalities you thought highly of who then did something so unintentionally lame that you couldn't see them the same anymore? I'm talking on-camera only; no real-life arrests or idiot shoot interviews or social media embarrassments.
Example: Road Dogg. As soon as he started wearing overalls and rapping with K-Kwik, he lost any shred of cool, as far as I was concerned. There was a match he had (against Regal, I believe) where K-Kwik ran down, interrupted the match, caused a DQ and then demanded that they "Get Rowdy." And Road Dogg, who had just lost a match because of his dumb friend, thought this was a great idea and they did their awful rap again.
You?

Edge when he tried to be the super cereal badass heel and started using the spear running-hug-to-the-ground as a finisher

Colt Cabana. The eight men tag match he had in Chikara that turned into a baseball game. It was to hokey even for Chikara standards, so much so that Colt admitted on his podcast that he regrets it.
Finn Balor. That segment he had when Baron Corbin made fun of his size by giving him a little tikes playhouse and Finn just smiling like an idiot. That moment I realized that he wasn’t top guy material.
Randy Orton. After he became Triple H’s flunkie during the program for wm 30. He was one of my favorite wrestlers but there was something that made him look pathetic like he actually demoted the belt. After that he started taking long breaks and I doubt the fans ever missed him when he was gone.

Dean Ambrose's current heel run. Really the doctor stuff and the you people rubbish more than anything but he's just so uncool at the moment.
X-Pac's heel turn on Kane to pretty much killed his coolness. But him continuing to wear DX colours in late 2000, which was pointed out by Jericho, didn't help either.

Later in WCW, Kevin Nash doing a run in wearing sweatpants that were a few sizes too small.
Now, I think it's hilarious but to 14-15 me it was the epitome of uncool.

Hogan in the nWo elite. Him in the Wolfpac shirt with baggy Fubu pants screamed “look kids, I’m still cool”.
CM Punk during his absence and UFC “fights”. I have no desire to see him again.
Ryback after his heel turn.

Every single time a heel does the crazy EVIL FACES no matter how much it makes no sense to their character I'm out.
Edge was the worst for this. Being a sneering, petty jerk with a weird SCUD The Disposable Assassin body who I was supposed to buy as being SUPER UNHINGED randomly.
Also, CM Punk calling Del Rio "amigo"

Controversial one here... but Biker Taker, at the time it just felt the Dead Man was going through a midlife crisis on camera,
he redeemed himself later though

I feel like the Big Evil heel turn was when he shone the most as Bikertaker, though, being more in shape and showing more personality. That, and his feud with Hogan was hilarious. Between dragging him super slowly for what felt like ages, and him manipulating the situation to have Triple H lose the title belt to Hogan, only for Undertaker to easily beat Hogan for it not long after, was a delight. Also fun was stuff like his look of horror when Dreamer drank from his spit cup.

Yeah that's what I meant with redeeming himself it was a rough 2000 and some of 2001 for me, I liked the moment with JR as well "you think your better then me?"

Part of it was on him too, as this period was probably when Taker was at his most jerk-assiest, no selling anyone who didn't at least equal him in size.

The U.N.I.O.N made groups uncool for me. See Mankind, Test, Big Show and Vince with 2x4 vince rolling up his sleeves, i just hated it and it made me sour on foley, show and test from then on.
Also, with Taker it was when he brought his wife Sarah into it. He went from being an awesome badass, to a dude wifh a wife and a crap tat on his neck.

I mean, this one was just a few days ago, but
Braun Strowman flinching over a 7000 year old Vince McMahon was the most hilarious shit I've ever seen and not in a good way. You couldn't have killed him any harder.
