So I decided to give Zombie Land Saga a whirl (at the moment starting up the third episode) and on the whole I'm really enjoying it but man, Kotaro is singlehandedly strangling the life out of this show for me. After one or two jokes he just stopped being funny for me, he never stops screaming, and he absolutely dominates every scene he's in to where it seems like barely anyone even gets any dialogue around him. It's honestly kind of making me want to not bother with continuing despite having a lot of fun when he isn't around.
Another example off the top of my head is back when I was reading El Goonish Shive I basically completely lost all patience for it any time the focus was on Ellen just because of just how self-centered she was, how everything seemed to stop dead any time she had an issue to focus entirely on that, the constant shilling of her by the rest of the cast, and how her storylines always just dragged on and on interminably. Although funny enough she had little to do with what actually made me eventually quit for real with it, that was mostly just due to having several terrible storylines in a row that made me realize it wasn't worth the headache anymore.

any X-men comic where Kitty Pryde shows up. obnoxiously perfect character. there is not a single comic character that brings out my gut loathing the way Kitty does.

Him on the walking dead, Carol's son.
Hated him as a stupid, obnoxious kid. Hate him as a stupid, obnoxious teen. I can't wait for him to get bitten.

Though there were storyline reasons behind it, Holland Novak and the douchey way he treated Renton in Eureka Seven drove me up a wall. Fun show otherwise though.

Take your pick: Both of them drove me away from their respective series, not because of the actresses or even the introduction to the characters, but because of the god awful writing that revolved around them over time because CW's gotta CW.

I’m perfectly fine with Batman when he stays in his own city doing his own thing, but when he starts showing up elsewhere and teaming up with other heroes, I really start to hate him.

Carmilla in the Netflix Castlevania was easily the worst part about it outside of Godbrand whom they had the decency to kill off unceremoniously out of nowhere at least.

Peeta Mellark in The Hunger Games, book and movies. Whiny, ignorant, entitled 'nice guy' douche.

Andrea Zuckerman: Beverly Hills, 90210.
Now, I absolutely loved the show and still watch reruns. That said, her character was boring as hell for 75% of the time she was there. And I hate to mock the fact she was like, 30 when it started, but the last 2 seasons that she was a regular, she looked borderline older than Cindy Walsh.

Iris has gotten a bit better this season atleast because even Candice Paton knows her character has little to no depth outside of...Barrys love interest and she has publicly expressed this frustration , but this season she has gotten a bit better for her so I am coming around on her..for now. Felicity on the other hand......boy oh boy people are holding very strongly that she continues down her current path and it drives her and Oliver apart or like everyday actions....we wish everyday is a closer call to the characters death lol.

I've made my loathing of The Uchihas pretty clear To be far the uchihas are far from the only issue that dragged the show down. Also, spoiler for Jojo part 5:Golden Wind. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}Diavolo , not that Diavolo himself ia a bad character but with hsi identity reveal the story took a nose dive: His dual personality changing his whole body is simply stupid,it is not even a power, his dual personality changes his whole body His power is a complex mess And that complex op mess of power causes the biggest power ass pull of the whole damn series This single character is the main reason i can`t consider Part 5 the best part

Wesley Crusher, Ezri Dax, and Neelix.

Ezri had a few too many episodes when they tried to get her over in 1 season, but I wouldn't say she singlehandedly ruined DS9. Neelix was terrible and never really even made sense as to why he was on the ship on Voyager. I'd say B'Elanna Torres is probably worse on Voyager though since she has more to do. I'd agree with Wesley in the initial 3 seasons of TNG, but he kind of had a backward character progression. He started out Mr. Perfect, the epitome of a Gary Stu character, and by the end he was a total loser that got in trouble at the academy, quit, couldn't do anything right.
How has no one mentioned Finn as of yet? He was bad and unfunny in TFA, then they even added the equally dreadful Rose to his plot line in the next movie. Some people find Finn entertaining, but keep this in mind. This guy is a major character not in some streaming Star Wars series, or a TV series that only die hards watch. He is in actual Star Wars movies and is just a waste of screen time.

Felicity from Arrow was my main reason for stopping that show. I heard she got better, but I'm good avoiding. And since crossovers are such a huge part of the show, I lost the urge to watch the other ones. I tried watching just the crossover eps, but it made no damn sense.
And of course, Dawn Summers. Possibly the worst character of all time. Whiny, annoying, and for some reason, defended to the death by all other characters.
And for the controversial choice. Michael Scott. Guys was an asshole. Yes, he had nice moments, which looked especially good against the mirror of his day to day activities. But overall he was a selfish jerk who was terrible at his job, bullied the hell out of his employees, and was generally a creep. Yes, I get that he wanted to be loved, but he was an absolute terrible human being trying to accomplish that.

Am I the only one who just doesn't get the Felicity hate? She's basically always been Penelope Garcia's hotter, younger sister. Come to think of it a lot of Criminal Minds fans detest Garcia as well. I'd say the whole Ricardo Diaz plot has soured me on Arrow quite a bit.
As far as The Flash goes I'd go with Nora on the current season. She sucks and the story makes no sense as to why she is allowed to hang around for months on end and do constant damage to the time line.
Oh and I'll also go with Christopher Pelant on Bones. C list Moriarty wannabe who lasted way, way too long and I'm not sure the series ever recovered from it.

Fresh off of the Spider-Man: FFH teaser thread, let me mention Michelle "MJ" and her predecessor, Darcy from Thor. Surely SOMEONE knows how to write a hipster girl who isn't annoying as all *&^%, isn't there? ? To the Kitty Pryde mention above, well I guess Ellen Page was just being true to the character, then? Saffy from any Ab Fab season beyond the original three. Miserable, not funny, impossible to feel anything for but strong dislike. Mr. Spooner from the later episodes of Are You Being Served? So bland compared to who he meant to replace, it made him annoying too. That character from the Star Wars prequels. You know, the one who does not look or act believable in any way, is grating every time he opens his mouth, ruined what could have been an interesting story... {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler} of course, I mean Anakin Skywalker as played by Hayden Christensen. BAT-MITE, New Adventures of Batman version. Take his spiritual Filmation cousin-to-be Orko, take away any heart the character did have, amp up the annoyance level to 1,000, and you got this version of Bat-Mite. The fact that he appeared in EVERY episode is unforgivable. Even with '70s SatAM toning down on violence and etc, there were several NAoB stories that could have been decent if not for this little bastard appearing. Molly Flynn, from Season 4 on of Mike and Molly. Was M&M the greatest sitcom ever? Nope, but I was still entertained by it. Until they decided to make Molly into the Generic Melissa McCarthy Character, then I couldn't watch anymore. Melissa does have talent and seems like a sweetie IRL, but either she's just passive aggressive in accepting this lot in life, or she just thinks nothing of it and thinks she's being a comedienne. Can I add that I'm glad you all so far have gone beyond the obvious route and mentioned Scrappy-Doo? Besides there being even worse characters out there, he actually saved the Scooby-Doo franchise and had it run into the '80s (though that too may annoy some of you...)

Merlyn got one season as the main villain, so did Deathstroke and Prometheus, and they were all SIGNIFICANTLY more interesting than some jabroni mob boss whose basically just Richard Dragon in name only.

They brought him back because they felt he was criminaly underused (which he was) because they stupidly tried to make whateverhisnamewas hacker dood the main villan for the first half. I think he is doing better now that he is the central villan....I just have to point to the episode SLABSIDE REDEMPTION as evidence. If anything now The LongBow Hunters are being misued because idk what the f*** their purpose is...I thought it was to help Diaz but left him to get put in prison so
