I didn't really care for 90% of the subplots on Dexter.

any X-men comic where Kitty Pryde shows up. obnoxiously perfect character. there is not a single comic character that brings out my gut loathing the way Kitty does. Seconded. She's atrocious. Especially in the hands of either Chris Claremont or Joss Whedon. People who complained about Jubilee in the 90's cartoon clearly never suffered Kitty Pryde of the 80's.

No mention of this f*** outside of a joke alluding to him? Guess it is the low hanging fruit here but I'll be the one to explicitly list Jar Jar Binks. Mutt Williams, Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull
Jurassic World has several horrible characters, but the worst is Vincent D'Onofrio's Hoskins, the absurd military contractor guy who wants to use velociraptors to hunt Al Qaeda.

Oh and I'll also go with Christopher Pelant on Bones. C list Moriarty wannabe who lasted way, way too long and I'm not sure the series ever recovered from it. Holy shit yes. Every time that character showed up you knew the episode was going to be D- level garbage masquerading as if it was a well-written plot full of clever twists and unforeseen turns. Pelant was basically the Bones version of Bray Wyatt. Jibber jabber doesn't matter HERE IS SOME SPOOKY SHIT WOOOOOOooOOoOoOoOoO.

Though there were storyline reasons behind it, Holland Novak and the douchey way he treated Renton in Eureka Seven drove me up a wall. Fun show otherwise though. Yea, season 1 and beyond with Holland being a massive dick to Renton was draining
But I do love that he's willing to die for him and Eureka by the end of the story and keep the world safe for him and Talho baby

Gordon's girlfriend on Gotham (Lee? I dunno, she's the one that's played by the same girl as Deadpool's girlfriend)
All she ever does is be in danger and keep breaking up and making up with Gordon. It's like the writers literally have no idea how to write two people in a stable relationship so they have to reset them every 3 weeks.

It used to be Asuka in Evangelion, but it helped me tolerate her a bit more when I had a realization.
It would get to me that people disliked Shinji in-universe, but Asuka and her own shitty behavior was given a free pass, but I think it made me dislike her as much when I realized that people don't really like her, either. Then again, hardly anyone in this show likes anyone else to begin with.

Any humans in pre-Bumblebee Transformers live action movies. And any personality for a robot character created by Michael Bay.

How about redeemed annoying characters? I used to despise Valencia on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, season one. Which I guess was the point. But season 2 on, as she became friends with Rebecca et al, she's become a more likable, more multifaceted character.

Let's just Firefly the series and pretend only the first 13 count. Everything beyond that destroyed the good that came from those first episodes (especially the whole "New York" BS). EDIT: I do realize that this means we ignore 90% of the series, but the math was purely coincidental!

Am I the only one who just doesn't get the Felicity hate? She's basically always been Penelope Garcia's hotter, younger sister. Come to think of it a lot of Criminal Minds fans detest Garcia as well. I'd say the whole Ricardo Diaz plot has soured me on Arrow quite a bit. I like Felicity. Outside of random moments here and there, I've always liked her. *shrug* And besides Quentin, she was the only one who had Oliver's back last season.

Mary Jane in the Raimi Spider-Man trilogy Kate on LostEveryone who worked at the newspaper in Season 5 of The WireWhile we're talking about Mary Jane, she is just... the worst in the PS4 game. Like I really cannot believe how shrewish and unlikable they managed to make her with her constant whining about how, "You treat me like I always need to be saved!" all while you constantly have to save her. It's really to the point I'm hoping the sequel kills her off.

Hinata in Naurto
The shy and timid nature was cute at first and I liked how they had her character have probably her best moment in standing up to Pain in protecting Naruto. I probably would have killed her off there and felt like her character was almost perfect.
However, once that happened they started forcing her into situations. Neji gets killed to give her sympathy points with Naruto and then they bring up the BS about Nauto always loving Hinata and being shy around her
They kind of jumped through hoops at the very end to make that relationship stand when they didn't need to
