Zack Goodweather from the Strain. Such a whiny, careless little POS.

Pimento in Brooklyn 99. Patton Oswalt's fire marshall hurts it too but I think that's down to my feelings on Oswalt (first class guy, horrible one note performer).
Wrestling has a few right now. Lashley. Revival when they were featured. EC3. Bryan (again more personal feeling than character). Alexa.

The game would still have its fair share of problems (like the constant backtracking and uninteresting locales), but Skyward Sword would be SO much more tolerable without Fi stopping to blither on about nothing every 30 seconds. What's especially annoying is that she's the kind of character I usually like a lot but the game just never has her shut her damn mouth.

Michael Scott absolutely ruins "The Office" for me to the point that I have never been able to get through more than an episode or two.
I like Steve Carrell. I like the rest of the cast and characters. I like everything about the show and think it's very funny. But the second Michael Scott comes on screen, I'm done.

Chloe O'Brian from 24, found her to be so frustrating to watch. Get back to Bauer.

Shirou Emiya. The worst protagonist I have ever come across in an anime I've watched. Granted, they ballsed up the series through many, many other issues, but he was the crux behind a lot of them.

Comics...but, Flash Thompson in the early Amazing Spider-Man books. Yes I know he was the bully and all, but he was just grating to read, IMO.

"Call me MJ!" in Spider-Man Homecoming.
She shows up from time to time, makes a snarky half assed social justice comment, then disappears for another twenty minutes.
Awful character.

And WHY DIDN'T THEY JUST CALL HER MARY JANE?!?!? JJ Abrams - "He's not playing Khan. He's not Khan. He's absolutely not Khan" Guy Not Playing Khan - "My name.....is Khan" It felt super gutless to me. Like they knew some knuckledraggers would get pissed about changing her ethnicity so they created a whole different character whose nothing like Mary Jane and then tried to stealth it in at the end. Just stupid and shows they don't really stand behind the character. See also "Oh John Blake's first name is Robin!"

He's absolutely not Khan" Guy Not Playing Khan - "My name.....is Khan" The obvious better choice would have been to have him been one of Khan's lieutenants, then show a cryo tube with KHAN NOONIEN SINGH on it at the end as a sequel hook. That would involve not doing all the shitty remade moments from Wrath of Khan though.

While he doesn't ruin the game for me, the Disciple is as interesting as tooth rot and guarantees I'll never play Knights of the Old Republic 2 as a female Exile without the Handmaiden mod.

The whole damn werewolf pack in True Blood. Mostly for being boring but also for it's terrible version of the werewolf lore.

Karen Page in the later seasons of Daredevil and The Punisher. She insists on constantly putting herself in danger, requiring Matt/Frank to save her, all for "teh scoopz", even, and especially, when literally everyone around her tells her not to. And then she gives Matt crap for being Daredevil.

Her character was way too snarky to ever even remotely like. First time I watched How I Met Your Mother, I loved the show. Loved the characters, loved the humor, loved the story. Then I watched it again and realized that every single character on that show was just terrible. The worst being Lily and Barney. Just unlikable people doing unlikable things.

NCIS New Orleans, Tammy Gregorio. Horrible character. Abrasive, overshilled, and made a lesbian just for shock value. Between her dominating scenes more and more and the writing going downhill, I bailed out on that show.
Torchwood, Gwen Cooper. Just f***ing die already, Gwen.

I quite liked Mark in Parks. The characters who hurt episides for me were Brandi Maxx, Bobby Newport's stepmother (name escapes me) and Roscoe. Particularly Roscoe, can't bear characters like that in anything. Count me among the people who never had a problem with Mark in "Parks & Recreation." I understand people feeling that he wasn't as charismatic or colorful as Ron or Leslie or Tom or Andy, but that was kind of the point of his character. He was supposed to be this boring career bureaucrat who is grounded to earth while the rest of the characters in Pawnee spin off into their own chaos. He was always the one who kept a level head and brought a sense of realism to the show, in that he felt like someone you'd actually cross paths with in your local City Hall. When the show wore on into seasons 6 and 7 and started to suck, there were a handful of characters who became too much. Craig was a one-note joke that wasn't funny for a second, but somehow he became an integral part of the cast in the final two seasons. Andy was given the full Homer Simpson/Kevin Malone treatment, where his adorable eccentricities and lovable stupidity morphed into a borderline mental handicap. Jean-Ralphio was funny in the first four seasons because he felt like a real (awful) person you'd meet in the world, but he became a caricature by the time seasons 6 and 7 rolled around and Mona-Lisa was right alongside him as a painfully unfunny, mute-the-television level of bad character. Y'know, the more I think about it, the more I think I never had a single problem with "Parks & Recreation" until the final two seasons. Those seasons were such appalling garbage that they almost make me forget how much of a home-run the first five seasons (particularly seasons 2-4) were. Peggy from "King of the Hill". I'll never understand the passionate hatred people have for Peggy Hill. She's one of my favorite characters on "King of the Hill." If its her hubris, she normally receives comeuppance for it, but she's regularly a key player in some of the series' best episodes. Give me someone whose storylines are often among the best in the franchise over a character like Luanne, which cause me to pass on watching the episode if she's the main character.
