Crazy how much momentum McIntyre has lost lately. I still think he's a good IC title guy, but a few months ago I was all for him becoming Universal Champion. Now the thought of him winning the Rumble just bores the hell out of me.

Lesnar loses the title to Finn Surprise rumble winner I would actually love that, as long as it lead to Finn beating Brock at ‘Mania too. Hell, maybe even do a gimmick where Lesnar just can’t hit the F5 on him, Finn counters it every time. Finn the Brock Slayer sounds fun

The most interesting thing he's done his whole return is get pinned by Andrade for the NXT title.

Honestly, Shane McMahon.
Anyone else is at least a wrestler you can build a storyline from whether it was someone at the top or bottom of the card. One McMahon winning the Rumble for historical sake is bad enough.

Anyone who has won it once or especially anyone who is a double winner.
I could see them giving it to Cena just so he ties Austin's record 🙄 Would not be shocked.
Really, nobody who doesn't need the rub anymore. We've seen Orton, Cena, HHH, and Batista win it just in the past 5 or 6 years, and while I like those wrestlers, they didn't need a Rumble win(even though Batista did contribute a lot to Wrestlemania 30 story.)
Having a guy like Nakamura win was a step in the right direction imo.

Someone who has been with the company under five years (main roster), hasn't won before and hasn't been in the last match on a Mania card before. They managed it last year...

I don't really care if it's a repeat winner or an older guy, so long as there's a good match to make out of it. Though if it was someone broken down like a Taker, Trips, or HBK, it'd stink. I don't want Orton to win it again cause I just don't think the guy gives a f***. I'd much rather it go to someone who at least looks like they care. Then again there's also the guys who are terrible, and I don't have strong doubts WWE would consider pushing hard, like another Jinder Mahal run for example. I think that might be the worst case scenario, since it's a guy who's bad, but apparently cares about his work, so being awful is apparently the best he can ever hope to be. So there's nothing to get excited about in that case.
So long as there's some sort of compelling story (I know, WWE...) and/or exciting match to go off it, I don't really have a problem with anyone winning. On the other hand, last year showed that betting just on a match delivering doesn't always matter. I'd hope they wouldn't repeat something like that.

Well they've played it safe in a way since a few of the fan favorites are already in title matches, so on paper that rules out Finn, Bryan, and Styles. You'd think they did that to clear the path for Rollins as the triumphant babyface winner.
But they could go with a repeat or lameduck winner without fear of too much backlash as well. So for me it'd be Cena. I don't want him in another title program or main event.
Second: Roman. Same reason.

Orton, Cena, Undertaker, Lesnar, Roman (despite being happy he's healthy then), Rey, Jeff Hardy.

Ironically, I would mark HARD if Toby Flenderson won the Royal Rumble.
