Since no one has this up and news has been made already about this round, I figure I would get the ball rolling.
Sunday, January 20, 3:05 pm NFC Championship Game #2 Los Angeles Rams at #1 New Orleans Saints on FOX Favorite: New Orleans
Sunday, January 20, 6:40 pm AFC Championship Game #2 New England Patriots at #1 Kansas City Chiefs on CBS Favorite: Kansas City
So let's begin.
Personally, I am not sure if Kansas City fans like the idea of being the favorite

Rams/Saints: This one should be a offensive bloodbath. The Rams are damn good, but it just feels like New Orleans is destined to go to the Superbowl.
Saints 36 Rams 33
Pats/KC: KC is damn good and is a monster at home. The Patriots are a team that has experience and always seems to find a way when you think they're dead. My head says KC, My heart says Pats. I'll go with my heart.
Patriots 31 Chiefs 27

Chiefs 35, Pats 24- New England is not the same team on the road. 25 of Brady’s 28 playoff wins are at home or a neutral site SB. All that big game experience apparently does not travel.
Rams 35, Saints 31, A road team is due to win a conference title game.

My picks:
Pats over Chiefs
Saints over Rams
Still this is one of the most competitive Conference Championships I have seen in a while, so I wouldn't be shocked if I am 0 for 2 on this.

Kansas City fans really deserve a Super Bowl appearance. They're long suffering, snakebitten, and it's been nearly 50 years since that city has celebrated a Super shot.
Boston fans.... your baseball team won a World Series just a few months ago. The Patriots already have 5 SB's. Don't get greedy.

This is one of those cases where 'you can use stats to say anything you want'. - Tom Brady is 2-3 in Conference Championship games on the road. - Tom Brady is 8-4 in Conference Championship games overall because of all those games he got to play at home. - The 3 road losses were all to Peyton Manning. The 2 wins were against Kordell Stewart and the rookie version of Big Ben. Not that any of that actually matters Sunday (especially if Mahomes does indeed turn out to be one of the best QBs in the game one day).

Like if you took a poll I'm going to guess probably the rest of the country will be rooting for NE to lose. Outside of like say Denver fans but I even know some of them would rather the Chiefs win.

I don't really begrudge the Red Sox though. I mean they did have an 86 year drought and all. Besides, the titles they've won have been spaced out over a 14 year period with totally different personnel and 3 different managers (Francona, Farrell, Cora).
Anyway, Sunday:
Chiefs over Pats. This doesn't really favor NE. Brady historically isn't anything great on the road, KC is playing for a bit of revenge for the 43-40 loss earlier, and the Pats are a weak road team this year. I wouldn't be shocked if this one was out of hand actually, like how Tennessee beat the Patriots.
Rams over Saints. I'd rather the Saints win this to set up a fresh match up but I'm just not wild about how the Saints have been playing. They really weren't quite the same after the Cowboys loss. Saints have a solid run D but can they really stop Gurley and Anderson? I dunno. Rams have more weapons than anyone really, especially with Hunt being released by the Chiefs.

But like, as a fan, I'm never gonna not root for any of my teams to win it all.

I'm a Patriots fan that lives in Kansas City...I gotta root for where I lay my head. Plus I think if I root against the Chiefs tomorrow my husband might divorce me.

Until Kansas City is coached by something better than a slightly more successful Marvin Lewis, they're never going back to the Super Bowl no matter how loaded that team is.
