I think this is still around or it was in the past couple of years. If it was, it was probably a severely limited release. I couldn't find any of the Planters Cheez Balls when they supposedly made a comeback this last summer in stores. The moment I actually finally found a place that sold them, my wife insisted I buy a whole case for the house.

I know many of us loved this one. This is the one I think of. Like sweetned rice chex with marshmallows! So so so good. I wonder if you could simulate it with a currently produced chex and one of those bags of cerel marshmallows you can buy on the internet.

Not even Robbie Fowler put me off buying this as a kid.

They really dropped the ball with this one. It should have been shaped like Cs, 3s, Ps, and Os. Or even just Os. Instead it's shaped like an 8. WTF? I think they were supposed to be Threepeo's eyes or something. Either way, you didn't ask for it for the cereal, you asked for it for the Luke Skywalker mask on the back.

This thread has made me realize Ralston made some damn fine cereals.

Up until Monday, watching Raw, I had no idea Golden Crisp was still around. And Sugar/Honey Smacks with Dig 'em the frog. They had a recall last year due to salmonella. I didn't know Golden Crisp was still around, either!!

This thread has made me realize Ralston made some damn fine cereals. For every 1 good cereal they made, they made like 10 that were flavorless and/or would slice open your mouth... like Batman: Great box artwork, great prize (Batman bank or Night Light), but awful cereal.

Crispy Critters: I wanted this because the commercial was cute: but the cereal itself was bland with a really unpleasant aftertaste.

I didn't know Golden Crisp was still around, either!! I sent away for the statues of the characters from the commercials. It was Sugar Bear, and then all the animals he beats up. There were two tigers, an alligator, a snake, and a bull.

Nerds cereal was horrible. It tasted like cardboard. On the other hand, Nintendo cereal was amazing.
