I generally go first instinct. And then when Tyger tells me that song has been used, I go second instinct.

I generally go first instinct. And then when Tyger tells me that song has been used, I go second instinct. Kinda the same. Changed my mind on first instinct on elimination round, since I'm backed into a corner with the threat of elimination and used my potential choice next round for elimination, then changed my mind on the cover round, since I learned that stuff without vocals were okay. But for most part, it's first instinct with lots of wondering if I should pick another one. In this case, I think it's safe enough to say, the song I wanted to use was already used in a previous season, so I went and searched for another pick... which then led to the conundrum of me thinking of all the possible choices I could use, when my initial first pick I was very sure of.

With this round, it was kind of a "duh, that makes sense...iconic" thing haha

With this round, it was kind of a "duh, that makes sense...iconic" thing haha Haha, I'm frankly horrible at that. Like, when the theme for the round gets announced, I end up metaphorically wandering around, looking through songs and picking what I like. Then after picking, I'd wander around some more looking through more songs in my free time even if I don't change my mind. For better or worse, it's managed to get me through one elimination round, at least.

Thought for a second about sending in a different song because reasons, but it sounded way worse vocally.

I'm gonna be blunt here, the list ruins my fun in this. I get that we dont want the same 10 songs every round but every damn time I try something theres a damn technicality why I cant because of it.

I mean there needs to be some restrictions. When you were a host they're were a lot of restrictions based on the design of your rounds. Part of the fun of this game is the challenge. Anyone can send in Hey Jude or Bohemian Rhapsody if they wanted an easy win.

For example if the category was names in title and someone chose Hey Jude and an absolute belter of a track I've never heard of i would be inclined to give the nod to the unknown one

I'm just giving a very basic analogy. The point is, I bet there are well known go-to's for any round. If we make it open season, we're setting us up for a competition of well known music.

Well looking at the number ones of this season it's not really been a season for the unknown and the unusual

Hey everyone. I have the songs for Round 14 and have sent them to 3 of the judges. My power and internet went down and I can only access the site from my phone. There will hopefully be only a minor delay before the remaining judge gets the songs and I can post them here. Just way too much of a pain to do it from my phone.

"Amid an atmosphere charged with pessimism, Mercury danced out on stage and welcomed the crowd like his dearest friend. By the time he sat down at the piano and hit the first few notes of “Bohemian Rhapsody,” he was the absolute master of the stadium. Over the next 21 minutes, his audience, and the 1.9 billion people watching on TV around the world, fell in love with him. His humor, his hyper-masculine yet fantastically camp energy and that phenomenal four octave voice were irresistible. Mercury was a brilliant sight. He had stripped his look to the bare essentials — white tight jeans, trademark moustache, a white tank top showing off his chest and arms, a studded band hugging his right bicep. The whole group, absent their flamboyant 1970s costumes and set paraphernalia, proved they didn’t need them. There was no distraction from the performance. Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon, his fellow bandmates, executed their role — that of Mercury’s foil — magnanimously. As a modest May mused years later: “The rest of us played okay, but Freddie was out there and took it to another level.” Mercury was indeed a born ringmaster. There was no alienating affectation, no wallowing in sentiment. Where other bands might have been complacent, Queen swept through a distilled serving of their greatest and most bombastic hits to date, well-rehearsed over several days beforehand, with a swagger that never milked anything at the expense of the audience. The only pause came at the end of “Radio Ga Ga,” which Mercury performed at the edge of the stage, pumping his sawn-off mic at the crowd. For just over 30 seconds, he led them in a vocal improvisation, which was later christened “the note heard around the world.” He carried the audience, his winks and nods making the triumph a shared one, blown kisses and thrusting hips an assurance that he was as turned on by everyone as everyone was by him." Here are the songs for Round 14 : Steal the Show! Our 12 show-stealers were asked to send in a song with one simple but profound theme : it had to be live. Some of the songs were performed at a radio station, others on an album, while others occurred at more ingenious locations. When all was said and done however, regardless of the venue, the music was the focus. With only one more round remaining before the Second Elimination Sing-Off, who among our 12 would-be Idols will take command of the stage? Under the bright lights, in front of an audience of thousands in attendance, and millions listening around the world, who will become a name for the Ages? The show must go on! 1. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ULbaNKBqAWc2. www.youtube.com/watch?v=nMhAnbJ02HQ3. www.youtube.com/watch?v=qG9ZWUitFik4. www.youtube.com/watch?v=MwIymq0iTsw5. www.youtube.com/watch?v=BEfOGyvyfFY6. www.youtube.com/watch?v=7DKBKZ8Cxeo7. www.youtube.com/watch?v=8QF1alJRw-c&feature=youtu.be8. www.youtube.com/watch?v=6mqJHc97X_Q9. www.youtube.com/watch?v=dLrnxMM8Yu410. www.youtube.com/watch?v=8de2W3rtZsA11. www.youtube.com/watch?v=CpMLIINPXyw&feature=youtu.be12. www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Chq5PY-TzE{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}
