Good for Abyss and Dutt for going on to the WWE for nice backstage role. While this sucks, this doesn't mean the end of end days for Impact. Still have good, talented minds in the back.

Abyss? Wow, I honestly thought he'd be the final one left wrestling with Janice on an old highschool gym mat

No wonder the tv product has vastly improved the last few weeks without them. Anyways good luck to both in wwe.

No way Sonjay Dutt passes Wellness. Why do you think he signed an employee contract and not a performing one?

No way Sonjay Dutt passes Wellness. Depends on if Dr. Nash is administering the testing or not...

Love Sonjay Dutt, great dude and a tremendous talent. Abyss is cool too, and I'm most stunned that I actually called Abyss doing this in 2016: officialfan.proboards.com/post/12695361/thread(yes, this was me making one of those out-there predictions on the off chance it comes true, and this time is did, further proving worth in this habit)

Please don't use the Joseph Park gimmick, ever.

Konnan is part of creative now? I guess we know who will be challenging Johnny Impact at the next PPV then.

Abyss always said and even recently, that he would go down with the ship. Something happened.
Poor Abyss, he gave everything to tna and only has the memories.

Pretty big if true. Abyss has been there forever and Sonjay is a longtime industry veteran with a lot of connections. Money certainly talks.
With Abyss gone, Konnan and D’Amore would be the people in the company with the most TNA legacy at this point? It’s pretty much wholly a new company.

Konnan is part of creative now? I guess we know who will be challenging Johnny Impact at the next PPV then. His stuff in MLW is fairly good, and got to help both Santana and Ortiz to get over(as characters).
Konnan would help when it comes to developing characters(which has been lacking in Impact)

Abyss leaving is a f***ing horrible sign for TNA. The one dude who would have given up his whole family for them and taken 100000 bullets and now he's just gone.

Impact was supposed to end with Abyss shaking his head and turning off the lights of the Impact Zone with this song playing.

really shocked Abyss left.
Figured he was a lifer at this point.
Dude wrecked his body for them... probably for less money than he was worth.
I don't know if he would have ever truly MADE it in the WWE... but even just a run there might have had Impact treat him with a little more respect rather than having him pretty much always look like a clueless putz falling into the tacks and glass and whatever else he brought out.
