Can't wait to see Konnan find some way to f*** things up and end up booted from four promotions' creative teams in one day. Yeah, we need a poll of us guessing when things with Konnan go tits up and he leaves TNA... again. Also it's nice to know with all the big changes in the wrestling world in the past month TNA still manages to have bad news coming out of it.

End of an era right here.
I'd like to see Joseph Park pop up in NXT as a manager. Goodness knows some folks could use a mouthpiece.

What with this and his approach to ADR and Aries, Callis sure does seem to like employing guys who have track records in bailing under clouds or creating problems. Birds of a feather maybe.

Konnan face down in a Pizza Hut box writing 4 shows at once with his hands and feet working independently is the future of non-WWE wrestling in America.

Dude is versatile to a ludicrous degree and by all accounts has an insane work ethic and attention to detail. I'm surprised Vince hasn't found another daughter for him to marry by now. Oh yeah that's what I mean tho. Borash must have really been showing his great worth in a quick amount of time to essentially have the clout to get guys hired to help him
It's been said Impact biggest L was losing Borash because he did so much and they got Josh Matthews trying to fit that build
When he was hired, wasn’t the rumour that Hunter was bringing him in to be the the “Kevin Dunn” for NXT?

Adding Abyss and Dutt to the creative side can only help them. What’s crazy is James Storm essentially started this with all the TNA guys making that jump and he’s not in WWE but damn near everyone he associated with is

I'm actually excited about this on both sides.
I've wanted Abyss to leave Impact to explore his potential for years (yeah yeah joke about his limited potential, but I think for awhile there he was one of the better big men in the business).
This clears up Impact to gain even more of its own identity, shake off the past. Yes they lost someone that's been with them for years, but I think this is a good thing for both sides. This is not Impact dying, this is the company shedding its skin. Which it needs to do in my opinion. They survived Borash leaving, they'll survive Abyss and Uggo Dutt leaving.
Now I just want Abyss to be in NXT/WWE one time. Just once. To say he did it. Show up at Takeover and squash someone, or be a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble. The place would pop for it, and I'd mark the hell out.

Is there anyone left who have been with the company for more than 3 years? It doesn't feel like there is...

Leave the memories alone.
The Hogan Era did permanent damage to Abyss character, he never fully recovered from it.

Nah the Mick Foley feud killed Abyss. They admitted that Abyss was a third string Mankind ripoff back then. Here's what Abyss sacrificed for TNA. 1. He lost his front teeth after a stiff kick from RVD. 2. Because he wanted to make everyone happy, he agreed to bump on thumbtacks on a daily basis. 3. Definite brain damage after instances of unprotected chairshots to the head, this one comes to mind www.youtube.com/watch?v=e_BzAx5kEjU4. Almost contracted hepatitis b during a match with Nigel McGuinness, they wrestled on a dirty ring that tna never even bothered to clean. 5. a wwe contract. Through it all, he always said that he would go down with the ship. Something major happened to make him quit tna.

His character couldve been saved back then if he turned heel on Mick, the Abyssmania gimmick destroyed his credibility.

Man, you go dark for a few days, and everything goes to hell...or as close to hell as it can possibly get in TNAland.
I seriously thought Impact would have closed around Abyss, as he just stood there, covered in barbed wire. I never pictured him actually leaving.
