Potentially spoilery stuff for both Smackdown and EC so tagging it {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com is reporting that Mustafa Ali will likely be pulled from the Elimination Chamber match due to mounting injuries. In addition to an injured tailbone from the Royal Rumble and a swollen eye from last week's Smackdown, Ali had an injury accelerated at Sunday night's live event.
It appears that the current storyline plan is for Randy Orton to be blamed for Ali being pulled from the match. Ali reportedly still wants to work the PPV but WWE doesn't want to take any chances.
There is no word yet regarding a possible replacement for the match. Poor dude deserves a shot at the title at some point if he can’t go at the Chamber.

On the house shows, they had Finn ask for the match. I hope they don't do that on TV because if that ain't about the stupidest f***ing thing I've heard a babyface doing in recent months, lmao.

Literally could not pass any harder. Aside from the two Chamber matches, this PPV is looking quite bad.

Finally, after all this time we get Braun vs Corbin. They really are giving us fresh matches.

I'll probably watch the show just because my Network subscription I got for the Rumble hasn't expired yet and the men's match looks like a blast but the rest of this card... Oof. The Women's Tag one is a tossup but the previous tag Elimination Chamber and the most likely start of the match being Bayley beating up the IIconics by herself don't make me hopeful, we all know Tozawa / Murphy's getting kicked to the preshow and not like there's a reason to care about it anyway, the Raw Women's match is completely pointless, and beyond those all of the matches are just total crap.

Kofi Kingston will be replacing Mustafa Ali in the Elimination Chamber match.

So, does the WWE title match go on last, or will they close with the Women's Tag titles? I think the latter could really help with the prestige of the titles in the early days of the championships' existence, but man has it been too long since the WWE title closed the show, Survivor Series notwithstanding.

I've been thinking they'd close on the women's tag titles. Really think they should close on the WWE title though, it is the bigger deal and is more than likely going to be the better match.

I really don’t think they’ll close with the women’s chamber. Especially if Sasha can’t compete in the match.

I think Tag Chamber match opens the PPV and WWE title match closes it.
Weird that Rey/Andrade hasn't been announced, but maybe they are saving that for Fast Lane or even Mania.

Most of the graphics I've seen in the last week are promoting the Women's Chamber, so I think that main events.

Don’t think the Women’s Chamber has enough talent in it to justify the main event. They should have added some more makeshift teams. Asuka, Becky, Charlotte, Ronda, Alexa, Mickie, Natalya all not in it.

Completely f***ing agree. It's one of my pet peeves about the booking.

I agree, though I guess the logic would be that, if Lio is going to try to interfere anyway, it at least won't be behind his back. Certainly buries Lio, though.

Hell, on Raw commentary was trying to sell it as this putting Finn at an advantage because it means he doesn't have to pin Lashley.

Could see that being why they'd book this, or to have Balor protected some if he doesn't win it, for whatever that's worth.
