The August 30-31st weekend just got busier, just announced today for Rev Pro Summer Sizzler at York Hall... David Starr vs. Will Ospreay! If Starr wins that match, he "takes control of Rev Pro" away from Andy Quildan. If Ospreay wins, Starr must leave Rev Pro.

OTT confirmed over Twitter that they're sharing talent with Fight Club Pro for their next Belfast show in September and so far confirmed Timothy Thatcher and Chris Ridgeway.

And the first match for OTT's Road to Fifth Anniversary Show's been announced with OTT Champion Jordan Devlin going up against a man making his return to Ireland after 3 years, the always dangerous Paul Robinson.

So Schadenfreude & Friends is...well, it's about as bizarre as you can expect from the people involved booking it.
Tomorrow at Machester's Frog & Bucket, you'll see;
Chief Deputy Dunne vs. Gene Munny in a Bandermatch, where the fans decide what happens. How this works, no idea, but it'll be a thing.
Chris Brookes takes on Dani Luna in a 1 count match which seems pretty self-explanatory.
Warren Banks, L.K. Mezinger, Rufio and Chuck Mambo face off in a Fatal Four-Minutes Match!
Mark Davis takes on Los Federales Santos Jr. in a Mexican Deathmatch
And the only non stip match involves the other half of Aussie Open, Kyle Fletcher, against Chris Ridgeway.

ATTACK! have a loaded show on Wednesday night in London at The Dome in Tufnell Park - "(Thank God It's Not) WinterSlam 4". Highlights include ATTACK! Champion M.Shay Ultra (the former Shay Purser, fresh from a tour of the United States) defending against Chris Brookes, Speedball Mike Bailey returning to the UK against rising star Nico Angelo, Tag Team Champions The 0121 (Dan Moloney & Man Like DeReiss) team with Millie McKenzie against More Than Hype, and in another case of "How on earth have they not wrestled for ATTACK! yet?", NXT UK Women's Champion Toni Storm debuts for ATTACK! against another rising star in Dani Luna.

and in another case of "How on earth have they not wrestled for ATTACK! yet?", NXT UK Women's Champion Toni Storm debuts for ATTACK! against another rising star in Dani Luna. And because of injury, this won't happen tonight with Storm having to pull out. Instead, Jinny will take on Dani Luna.

Couple of brief OTT updates for September’s show in Dublin, Scotty Davis gets his rematch against David Starr from back in February and whoever wins from Raven Creed/Valkyrie in Cork in August will defend the title against a debuting Gisele Shaw.

The Chapter 95 matches announced look great on paper, but it smacks of Progress doing something they always tried to distance themselves from, which is using brought-in marquee talent from elsewhere (and I know they were known in Progress first) to prop up their cards. Walter vs. David Starr is going to be great, but it's a feud that's been mostly going on in OTT, and now this tag team match and Dunne's "return" has been announced as WWE/NXT talent appearing on a Progress card rather than vice versa. There's something about it that just doesn't sit right.

There's something about it that just doesn't sit right. I do see what you mean, yeah. The crux of the Starr/WALTER feud was in wXw but a massive almost year-long chunk was in OTT and that's sort of charming to me that he'd be chasing him through every promotion they end up but the other two just do feel weird, especially for a show that didn't need that stuff in the first place with the Satomura match and the crowning of a new champion. Like, OTT does do that but that's been the MO from the start and now that stuff's done with story intention in mind but I don't get what Riddle/Lee vs. Moustache Mountain achieves outside of "Look at how connected we are to WWE, guys".
