DRIVERS, START YOUR ENGINES!!!!!!!!!!!! Lady and gentlemen, surely Fantastic race. Lots of racing for track position early on, and then it just went insane at the end. Thought Rossi had it won for sure with his last pass for the lead, would have been happy with any of the top three winning too. Santino Ferrucci likely ROTY after a 7th place drive today and leading a lap. Only rookie that managed to finish on the lead lap and kept his nose clean all day. Some really great results from former winners with Rossi 2nd, Sato 3rd, Power 5th, Hunter-Reay 8th, and Kanaan 9th. Conor Daly got his best 500 result by far with a 10th place finish. His previous best finish in 5 starts was 21st last year. Nice recovery by Davison from a incident on pit lane to finish 12th. He had been running top-ten in the early stage of the race. Castroneves and Andretti both being non-factors all day was surprising. Five of the top six championship contenders finished in the top six, with Dixon (5th in the championship) finishing 17th, last car on the lead lap. Got HOT as heck in the middle of the race. Weather forecasts looked awful leading up to the race and it ended up perfect. Going to watch the broadcast tomorrow, hopefully it was fun on TV as it was in person

We're going racing in Canada in a few minutes. Hopefully it'll be more entertaining than recent outings.

Vettel really isn't happy with that time penalty that meant that while he finished first, he didn't win the race. He's skipped the post race interview with Brundle, whether he turns up for the podium or not, we'll have to wait and see.

He took the “#1” sign from in front of Hamilton’s car and put it in front of his own. Oh dear.

AND I AGREE WITH VETTEL!
never a penalty as no driver in the world could have changed direction that much, it was hamilton who actually caused it by trying to jump in front, and since it was still a racing situation too
sure you could say he shouldn't have made a mistake, going into the chicane in the first place, but that's a moot point ..... he was clearly unable to turn the car far enough to not go into a spin and crunch into the mercedes!
actually brought the race down for me, and it was a great race, with two of the best going at it and one of THE cleanest canadia GP's there's ever been!
vettel totally deserved the victory and yep he was robbed of it!

Turn 5 has caused issues but otherwise clear sailing as Alexander Rossi has utterly dominated the REV Grand Prix.
