It is amazing what putting effort into promoting will do... and not just on social media locally as well for as good as the Elite are at self promotion they do outsource a lot and make connections... Jericho helps with that too. I think where they are doing their best is that they are not giving everything out at once. They are stagnating everything and are keeping it so close to the vest that nobody knows exactly what is going on

I kind of like how Meltzer could not possibly lose that bet any harder at this point.

Sold out in 4 minutes..... this is legit, guys. We'll see what happens in the future, but for now this is definitely legit.

The original All In was the public result of a bet that Dave offered where he didn't believe ROH could sell 10,000 tickets. Cody took him up on that bet, and now we have AEW.

I hope Double or Nothing has a preshow and we see the return of the Over budget battle royal, involving guys from AAA, OWE and other indies.
Really hyped for AEW.

Supposedly over 48000 tried to buy tickets during the pre sale which is more than the MGM can hold Are you sure it wasn't 4800 and that the presale allocation was less than that? Because 48,000 is about what the royal rumble did in a stadium this year.

Really great for them.
Sure there’s stil a bunch of people out there saying it’s somehow fake or meaningless. But this is a huge achievement.

Meltzer claimed Double or Nothing could’ve sold 43,500 tickets....

Regardless of their long term success I can't see how anyone can piss on this achievement. They've now sold out back to back 10k plus in no time at all. Impact, ROH and anyone else not owned by a McMahon hasn't touched that in 20 years of trying!

The talent meeting about the contracts had me shook with how big a spook the Khans have on Vince. The Batista news, even if it’s just leverage, made me think that this isn’t just some up start indie promotion. Then selling out MGM in 4 minutes has me officially excited for not just AEW but the biz as a whole.
This is crazy

I don't know how much I trust melter in regards to what he says about AEW as he is probably being fed a lot of spin, but if this is truly the case though my mind is blown and AEW should be booking a stadium ASAP, hell all out is the perfect name for a stadium show.

I was just reposting what Meltz said but admittedly after reading some quotes from Cody in what the goals were it could be less

achievement. They've now sold out back to back 10k plus in no time at all. Impact, ROH and anyone else not owned by a McMahon hasn't touched that in 20 years of trying! The argument could be made they've kind of sold out 3 big arenas back to back, Msg likely sold quickly because people were expecting the elite to be there.

I kind of like how Meltzer could not possibly lose that bet any harder at this point. And Cody still has yet to receive his dollar too.

I kind of like how Meltzer could not possibly lose that bet any harder at this point. Well, it might have ensured ROH can never reach that number again.

There first show already sells better than Raw or Smackdown.
When can we start talking about competition?
