If they plan on taking the title off him then they should send Braun over to smackdown and do it. If they want Bryan to retain, then I’d say mysterio, because there is no other option and I don’t think they faced eachother yet. It’s too soon for Ali to have a Wrestlemania world title match

Since I imagine Bryan's keeping the belt he's probably defending the title against Mysterio, Ali, Jeff, Kofi or Harper. I read that Harper's about to come back very soon so I think they'd do well in some type of feud given their connections. Doesn't have to be WM but a feud would be good.

Rey vs Bryan in a hair vs mask and title match would be pretty fun, it won’t happen but it’d be cool.

I'm thinking it's either Mysterio - they've been noticeably keeping them apart - or they're planning on blowing off the AJ feud there. Mostly getting the latter sense because no one on SmackDown but AJ is being treated like a top face and this awful feud is showing zero sign of ending.

Is Cena available? If so, I think there's still a good shot of the happening.

Bryan has wanted for so long to do a hair vs. title match and I wouldn't be surprised if he's got enough clout to push for that now. The fact he got the title after refusing to go to Saudi Arabia says he's in a favourable position, so he might be able to get what he wants out of that.

It's not like the match is going on last, so why not take a chance and have Ali take Bryan to the limit on the grandest stage, just barely coming up short? You also have a hell of a story with him going from the pre-show the year before to a World title match this year. Plus, the SD main event scene desperately needs some freshening up.

Drew should dominate a multiman #1 contender's match or something. This version of Bryan against Cena *could* be really fun. Cena is one of the few who can go toe to toe with Bryan on the mic and there's plenty of material for them to tap into.

I feel like Ali is the type of guy that should be built up for a match like that slowly. If he had won the cw title at mania last year then maybe, but I think this year he should win the US title first and then win the wwe title at mania 36. I feel like Ali getting a title match this year would be like Cena getting a world title match at mania 19 or 20

Heel Bryan against Cena actually sounds really good.
Won’t happen but still a good idea.

I heard there's this underpushed guy named AJ Styles who might be facing Bryan at Mania.

I hope we get something out of left field and it's Kurt Angle, where Kurt puts his career on the line.

He’s on Smackdown, so AJ automatically is in the title match, no?

Jeff is the only face he hasn't faced that's in the chamber match now Ali's gone. So is it Jeff? I'd go with Koffie. New Day's marketability vs Daniel Bryan's anti consumerism views writes itself. Issue is they needed to start building Koffie in January, or a push now could feel as random as Jinder's and not get enough fans behind it

If Ali is cleared for WM, of course (I've followed almost nothing since Crown Jewel so I have no idea of the severity of his injury). Personally, I think it depends on whether he's leaving as champion or not. If he isn't then yeah, Ali or even another midcard guy should take the belt. It's not main eventing anyway so WWE is more free to take a chance. If he is retaining, then give the match to someone who won't be hurt by the loss and can be an easy throwaway contender, like Hardy or Mysterio.

Unless they move Braun or Finn over, I'm going with Kofi or Big E. New Day finally gets the WWE Title.
