It's on to 1967; the year that saw the arrival of The Doors and Jimi Hendrix to mainstream audiences. Vote for your favorite movie from that year, and, as always, explain your choice (if you like), as well as mention any other movies you might have seen on this list, below.
We will also accept Write in Votes (although, please mention it as such) for movies not included on the list I'm getting the choices off of. However, I will not remove any from the list (I can't by that point), so, if you want to make your case why a certain movie isn't a horror film, make it. Hell, you might end up swaying a few voters from going in that direction, but I can't/won't remove it from the list or DQ it.

X from Outer Space I guess, more films to add to the list. Damn the late 60s are not great for horror are they?

Toss-up between IT!, in which Roddy McDowall plays a museum curator who stumbles upon a golem that he uses to smite his enemies (particularly a dude from another museum who's after the girl he's been crushing on), and TORTURE GARDEN, an anthology horror from the company famous for anthology horror (Amicus), starring Burgess Meredith and Jack Palance.
I ultimately went with IT!

IT! wound up winning the day for 1967; a year that really didn't have a lot of greats, horror-wise. I wound up voting for the Fearless Vampires Killers, another early film from Roman Polanski, which, despite his personal issues, was a really good director, and this fun little vampire flick is definitely a good example of his stylistic direction. Besides, I'm not voting for the more known horror film he directed in 1968, so, I figured I'd throw him a bone here. Frankenstein Created Woman was kind of an interesting twist on the whole Frankenstein mythos, with lovable bastard Dr. Frankenstein, Peter Cushing, winds up creating a hot female, rather than the mutated monsters he usually ends up creating. However, this female "monster" also ends up being a murderer, but it's in the debate between creator and creation as to why Frankenstein would even bring her to life is the interesting points of this one. Surprisingly decent, given the title. She Freak is kind of a exploitation twist on the classic, Freaks. The Something Weird (the movie that inspired this company was also released this year) set of this is definitely worth picking up for cheap. All right....onto 1968.
