The only source I have is my own memory when they announced it on 10 / 10 WINS News here in New York.
I wonder if this was made in the mid 90's they could have cast Michael Richards as Nortan, he could do the physical comedy required, but would that be too type casting.

I've only bought one script off of eBay, but given it was John Boorman's insane LOTR screenplay, I considered it worth it at the time.
Its been posted online since then, and worth a read just for how 70s crazy it is.

It's not a requirement, just saying that Carrey had the physical comedy down, and was on a roll with Ace Ventura, The Mask, and Dumb & Dumber. Eddie...not so much.
