Has Styles ever beaten Orton? If not there’s the reason for your match right there. No. They have only wrestled once in a one on one match which was 2 years ago

I don’t care who it is as long as AJ isn’t in the damn title match. It’s been like 16 months now? Enough.

Personally, I hope this happens because I think it has the potential to steal the whole show.

If we get gives-a-shit Orton it could be a fun match even at a brief opener pace. But I'd only care to see it if Orton tries. Neither of these dudes needs something past the seven minute mark at Mania though, keep it short and fun and get out of there before the usual shit sets in. Amidst a sea of problems with the current product, excessively long matches are one of my biggest pet peeves. Even great NXT matches tend to lose my interest because they just. Don't. f***ing. End. It'd be one thing if they only did this on PPV, but anyone who's watched Raw the past few years and seen lifeless matches dragged out through multiple commercial breaks knows this isn't the case.

NXT only puts on a max of 5 matches though and 85% of the time they are built up to mean something which is why you get these long encounters
