In the most technical sense, if they're still married, it's cheating. That said, there's a LOT of context missing here between "cheating on your partner in what appears to be a healthy marriage" and "seeing someone else when legally separated and on the way to finalizing a divorce." Obviously, the former carries a lot more negative weight in the court of public opinion. Pretty much this. When the news broke, so many of us, myself included, thought the former had happened, that they had a good marriage that he threw away, so naturally we went and focused the blame onto him. And now we know that wasn't the case, and I've got no issue in stating I was wrong. I still think he's a complete tool for how he acts on social media, but for this, there's no issue here now.

I couldn't have given a shit whether his marriage was ongoing or not, honestly. I also don't think cheating wipes out any other things I liked about him as a human before anyway. If you're going to stop respecting everyone based on them cheating, there's a number of people on this board you should probably stop listening to, including me (and I've been on both ends of the affair scenario, including on the bad end of it when I was married). People do bad things sometimes, doesn't make them bad people. Besides which, I like Graves because I am a fan of his work. Again, while I am DEFINITELY not a 100% 'separate the art from the artist' kinda guy, this isn't Lars 'I don't need a white hood because I'm bald and my big-ass, pale-skinned skull's enormous and pointy anyway' Sullivan, I like his commentary, and where he puts his penis is not related to such matters. I guess whether legal separation is fair grounds for seeing other people without a finalized divorce is another debate that can be had. I don't understand what the debate is here. The relationship is over, it's over. If I'm happy for anyone in this it's Carmella, cause I always thought she was a cool person and... above that kinda shit. Graves isn't a cheater, that's great, but his personality is still trash and I still think he needs some type of help in his life. I agree that Graves probably needs a bit of help with some things, but then relationships can be horrible for many years before they actually end anyway, and you can want out of them way before you're actually able to get out of them. That applies to Graves and his wife. I'd say he needed help way before he and Carmella became a thing, regardless of when in his timeline that occurred. I am, however, glad it isn't true partially because now fewer people will give Carmella undeserved shit for it. Even if I was the kind of person to judge Graves for cheating, Carmella really doesn't need to give a shit who Graves is with, it's not her relationship. I think the calls for his firing had nothing to do with cheating, it was him allegedly threatening his wife that WWE would sue her. There's definitely been both, not sure if on here, but definitely. I try and stay out of it because I personally still enjoy the dude, but the amount of shit Graves gets around here makes me sad. He brings it on himself, he's a real condescending asshole on Twitter especially. Yeah Graves shits on people on Twitter a LOT. It's not particularly pleasant.

I’m ok with whatever happens as long as Graves catches Ls on a weekly basis.
