I've always said stop watching. The problem is no one seems to follow through on not watching, not going to the shows, and simply just finding something else entertaining. I know it's easier said than done. But when push comes to shove it's much easier for them to remain stale, heatless, and insulting the audience when they're the only legitimate promotion in town. When you're the only big game in town and you know as far as strong outlets are concerned there's no need to change your game since you're the only real business in the field.
Unfortunately it sucks, however, that's the way it seems to be and as long as people continue to watch, maintain their subscriptions, buying the merchandise, and attending shows Vince has no real reason to change.

I think it's a mix of things. The crowd was certainly terrible, but the actual show itself was bland uninspired crap that's the same shit we've been seeing for months, just with new people slotted in. I think most of us would agree that they deserve those crickets. It's just that as bad as Raw has been for so long it's never gotten quite THAT quiet. It makes a bad show that much worse to watch.

It's pretty clear that they are trying to put to put on good TV, they just legitimately have absolutely no idea how to do so.

When they wrote this show, they had no idea that the Cajun dome was going to be such a dud of a live crowd. No way would they “send them out to die”. They probably only got the hint after the first segment with Hunter or Braun. By the time that happened it was too late to take them out. Doesn't matter, they brought them up with no build anyway. What was the point of that? What was the point of any of this? Wait till AFTER Mania then you have a guaranteed hot crowd. This as I said in the thread, reeked of desperation again, they're rapidly losing ratings, they could, yknow, actually make an effort to change and work with the roster they have, but they're just sacrificing more to the alter. Even if they had a good crowd it doesn't change the fact these dudes have all been called up with no direction or purpose. Yeah, they should've waited until the post Mania show to debut these guys.

I’m still not seeing what the crowd should’ve gone wild for. A authority figure? Seriously? The company gave nothing and got nothing. They got nothing because they chose to do it at the worst crowd possible. Not because they dare open the show with Triple H. Ok. We agree, the company got from this episode what they put into it. But I never mentioned HHH, I mentioned a story trope the company has been using for 20+ years started the show. Should the people also being going crazy for the ring? That’s always there too.

That crowd wouldn’t have gone crazy for anyone. Maybe a small pop, but nothing more. CM Punk would come back and get a lackluster pop at that arena. I wasn’t agreeing, the crowd was dead from the start. This isn’t a case where they gradually died due to Raw being Raw, they were always dead.

As long as they're still in the normal 2 range Vince isn't going to care. Legitimately the only way for them to actually bring significant change is if ratings dropped to 1 and below.

I'm amazed people can still sit through the whole show when they're *that* bored. Like, just go do something else. Be like me and go munch a can of tuna like a f***ing reprobate. Enjoy life.

Exactly what I've been saying. Why attend the show or why watch even for just background noise? Just turn the channel, don't even acknowledge the trash product, find something else that's worth your time and intelligence.

Calling it a dead crowd gives the company credit for something they didn’t even try to do and we all ready agreed that they didn’t try and got the outcome they deserved.

That doesn’t make sense though. The company simply expected one crowd and got another. This isn’t some case where the crowd knew the show was going to suck from minute 1. They were just dead. Nothing more and nothing less.

My cousin came to visit and I missed about an hour and a half of the show. I’m going to lsave him all my possessions in my will.

They lost over a third of their audience in comparison to last years ratings, and their ratings are starting to dangerously dip below a 2 which is a danger zone for them. Arena's are usually half empty anymore. People are following through, I don't know where people are getting that they aren't.

I personally thought it was fine in terms of in ring action and giving the NXT talent their Ws, but it was a bit of a stagnant show this go around. Combine that with the dead crowd who weren’t just gradually, but consistently dead, and I can see why so many think this is already worst raw contender.

Oh it is, and I would have rather all four of those NXT guys stay down till post Mania, this was the worst show for them to have a "First Impression" and like every NXT Callup I fear for their futures.

When the crowd behave like they did tonight, they should tarp off the entire crowd mid-show.
That'll teach 'em.
