I've always said stop watching. The problem is no one seems to follow through on not watching, not going to the shows, and simply just finding something else entertaining. I know it's easier said than done. But when push comes to shove it's much easier for them to remain stale, heatless, and insulting the audience when they're the only legitimate promotion in town. When you're the only big game in town and you know as far as strong outlets are concerned there's no need to change your game since you're the only real business in the field. Unfortunately it sucks, however, that's the way it seems to be and as long as people continue to watch, maintain their subscriptions, buying the merchandise, and attending shows Vince has no real reason to change. Yeah. Life is entirely too short, and that's if you even live a long natural life, to waste 12 hours a month just on mondays from a show you barely enjoy. Its not even background noise for me anymore. I watched the 2 chambers and becky whoop ass last night and feel good until fast lane. Im not saying im right, but for my sanity & tastes i was bored, bitching and bitter like majority of posters seemingly are during each weekly show and most ppvs. Ended up working out and playing some jump force/2k19 (just bought both on xb1 3 days ago). I had a blast, time flew and conversely i improved my health opposed to initial plans to drink booze and eat garbage food while watchinh . Increased confidence, pride and dat natural high off endorphins. I just... its not about wwe suxorz, moreso live life to fullest. Nevermind old age, diseases and accidents exist. Dont waste hundreds of hours each year on any entertainment that annoys, angers or atrophies attention.

On the other side of the coin, I notice that Raw’s really aren’t so bad to me when you’re not following live threads. For me, that heated, in the moment emotion would make me think each segment was some of the worst television ever produced. When in actuality, at leas to me, it really isn’t that bad. But the vibe surrounding the shows due to threads and such is what made me think that way. Since then, I’ve developed a somewhat more positive attitude to Raw and give props where it’s do. It still has its moments of bad, but it truly isn’t BAD bad the whole way through. I still chime in from time to time as they’re a lovely group to have a laugh with, but I usually keep those threads closed until after the segment is over to throw in my two cents. I agree though that wasting your time on a show you hate is a poor way of handling things. There’s always SD and NXT if you truly don’t want to give up WWE. But with the way most people in most wrestling community live threads act, not just on this board, but on wreddit and other places, you can just feel that raw anger and annoyance rub off on you. Some weirdddd shit to explain lmao

I may have to try that. I enjoy the forum but now that you've mentioned it, I do remember similar results when I got sick of Wforums toxicity, took a break and stopped with spoilers, suddenly everything wasnt "obvious" and bad. I have realized that in my opinion the two most hostile fanbases I'm a part of are wwe fans & people who play bleach brave souls. "F*** KLab" (the devs) is a catchphrase for this game they play for hours daily, dont get it so i distance myself. Again, i enjoy the forum but I may have to cherry pick threads and see if enjoyment goes up. I really think you're on to something. I wasnt on forums during guest host era and I enjoyed it for the stupid dumb fun it was each week, turns out that's some PTSD era for forum xD Edit: it may also be investment. I know that if im dicking around on my phone during a show/movie, even if "im paying attention!" Im not allowing myself to get invested so enjoyment dwindles.

I will say that it isn’t always negative, but, for the most part, it honestly is. At least from my perspective. Nothing personal against others opinions as I have no issue with those, it’s just mostly negative to me. Hope I didn’t come across that way in my little ramble there, haha

I’m sorry if I came across that way, but that’s just how I see most live threads. And it isn’t even just on here, it’s most places. Contrary to how I come across, I love this place and the people in it. You all have given me so many laughs and I really am sorry if I come across as this dude who either thinks he’s better than the entire board or constantly shits on here. I’ll stop with all that.

They lost over a third of their audience in comparison to last years ratings, and their ratings are starting to dangerously dip below a 2 which is a danger zone for them. Arena's are usually half empty anymore. People are following through, I don't know where people are getting that they aren't. What I am saying is when they're on television saying "We're going to change, we promise. We're going to shake things up." People tune in only to see more the same stale product and the fact that ratings are still in the 2 number range indicates a good number of people are watching. Evidently people are still watching somewhere for their numbers still remain consistently where they're at. I am only speaking when it comes to my own sanity. When I found that the product wasn't to my liking I simply stopped watching. Now I have been a lifelong wrestling fan since 1988. I grew up with the product, ordered countless ppv's, experienced many classic moments on television, recorded many live television episodes of Raw. So for me to simply stop watching I knew the product had to be horrible for a lifelong fan such as myself. If I, who had watched wrestling since 1988, can stop watching then no one else should have any excuse in my opinion. People I feel still watch because they want something to complain about and have no one to blame but themselves for being unhappy with it. Vince knows he doesn't need to change because why should he? TNA isn't a threat, AEW is starting out, Lucha Underground is just there, and Ring of Honor isn't anything particular special either. It's unfortunate but the WWE is still the only legitimate game in town and he knows it, that's why the product is still the way it is.

Ya gotta be less "fans are wrong" when you defend a point, and more "nah man, this is why I love it lemme break it down so you can see my view". Have fun with it. Someone isn't any more or less wrong because they don't like it as much as you do, same as you're not for liking something.

Also, this was one of only three Raws between Elimination Chamber and Fastlane... and they did NOTHING to set the show up. Not a single thing.

It was just so stagnant, you know? It wasn’t that bad, but nothing was really progressed. We just got Lesnar lore and that’s it lol

This company took that "we'll take risks tonight guys" thing completely the wrong way. Granted, there's no way they could have known the crowd would be that bad so I'm not going to put the crowd blame on them. That's just how it goes however what they should have done is readjusted it. In that opening promo Triple H could see how the crowd reacted to the NXT stars and show their debut vignettes and if they didn't get hype enough just set up their debut post-WM. They didn't have to go all the way with this and hell they can even say there was a change in plans and do something else because the crowd making these stars mattered the most. There should have been another script they could whip out in case of an emergency to prevent this but this? Nah, that's not being creative and thinking outside the box. That's some standard "ok lets debut some dudes" thing that they always do.
At the end of the day, the biggest thing I took from this Raw is that they blew their post-WM load on a random post-EC show and this was what they came up with while prepping. On that same token it took 6 days to make Kofi Kingston a WWE Championship contender. Sorta ironic on how such a great build had to rebound on other areas. Just nasty.

It's really not that bad though, there's plenty of positivity to be found if that's what you look for instead of negative ones to harp on. Even our most ardent complainers go on about what they do love in WWE. Just look, it's there. There's going to be "worse" weeks for negative vibes than others. That's not on the fanbase for not being satisfied. It's ok for them to not like it. But it's never 100% unless that's all you want to see.

Are post Mania crowds even that interested in the show anymore? The last memorable crowd post Mania was when D-Bry won the championship.

I’m sure they will once Becky wins the title and Seth wins the Universal belt. It’s much different this time around as the two people positioned in big matches are liked.

I went back and saw that whole opening scene and interestingly enough Kofi's chants were the loudest. I'm not sure how that'll be once Becky shows up but it's crazy how he's at least number 2 in being the most over face on the roster in such a short time. SDL tomorrow will be amazing.

That's if they're booked to win those respective championships. We know how petty and vindictive Vince can be when he doesn't get his way.
