That ending feels very, "We're doing Diamond and Pearl but we're waiting until everyone's bought the DLC to say so." I’m hearing rumours/speculation of Let’s Go! Gold and Silver games Honestly, I'd be more excited for that than the Diamond & Pearl remake. That was my least favorite generation, and that includes Generation VI with it's bloated gameplay, dumbed down story, and terrible villains. Sinnoh is just an all around boring place, and the original Pokedex was one of the worst things they came up with, especially given how a Fire-type Elite Four member only had two Fire-type Pokemon. At least with Let's Go, there's a chance at improvements to that game, although I am dreading the lack of a Game Corner once more since simulated gambling is an automatic Teen rating in most regions and they didn't want to keep the Voltorb Flip idea they had for the Korean/Western version of HGSS.

I think the one thing I like most about the Isle of Armor is running into Gym Leaders as random encounters out in the wild.

Apparently there's some developer that's been known to be working on a Pokemon game for a bit that specializes in MOBA games so it's probably that.
Ehhhh? There's definitely an audience for that but not a genre I have any interest in.

Can anyone who’s played tell me exactly what the EXP Charm does? I can’t find two other places that say the same thing.

I gotta say; Klara/Avery are both lousy characters despite all the hype that was built. Not that there was much. {Spoiler}They serve as the Asshole Rival when you arrive, complaining at every turn when you beat them, and was also why Galarian Slowbro is Poison/Psychic; so both use it. Also, at least with Avery & his Card, its established he's regarded as a failure by his family, which explains why the Psychic type doesn't have a Gym in Galar since it was his job to keep the legacy going.

Side note it's annoying that none of the water starters I have tried follow you in the water, when almost any other water pokemon does.

Well, I feel like an idiot for only just now having learned how to move data between profiles in Home. I might take the plunge on a subscription in light of that, would make it a lot easier to do a run through Shield or a replay of Let's Go.

I don't get why so many people want Diamond and Pearl remakes. One of the biggest complaints of SwSh was that the games were rushed, and now people want them to throw out another game? Besides, they would water down Sinnoh. The games were challenging so you know they would baby the player, especially with the Exp. Share. Instead of using the Platinum Dex/teams, I know Game Freak will go with the weird DP one... remember how only two fire types were available? Remember how a large portion of new Pokemon were available after the Elite Four? Remember how ORAS removed the Battle Frontier?

I see it as quite probably the worst region for a large variety of reasons.

I never understand the hate that Sinnoh gets, it's my all time favourite region with probably the best music the series has ever had.

I never understand the hate that Sinnoh gets, it's my all time favourite region with probably the best music the series has ever had. I think the three biggest issues are... - Mt. Coronet. It's just a gigantic, awkward timesink that really encapsulates all of the problems with HMs and makes a lot of the region feel incredibly samey because not only are you constantly coming back to it but there are a bunch of other caves in the region as well. - The speed of the games. It's just so incredibly slow to do much of anything, even if you turn animations off. - The Pokedex is pretty pitiful. Platinum's expansion helps a lot but it's still a pretty weird, limiting selection. Granted I wasn't thinking about Alola when I called it the worst one earlier. Even vanilla DP is much better than SM is because the game will actually shut up and let you play it.

They left a bunch of Crown Tundra stuff in the data. No Pokedex, but the main highlights are... {Spoiler}It looks like there are two legendaries they haven't announced that can fuse with the mascot, Vespiquen seems to have a new form, and it looks like from chapter titles that the Ultra Beasts and Keldeo are in.

My daughter had been playing my game too since the kids felt I was slacking. I went on, leveled up one of my Pokémon to level 100 and immediately went and kicked the crap out of Leon. I went and caught a Ralts after and evolved him to Gallade and gave him a Pokemon catching moveset. Time to school these kids.

So how is everyone doing in the Isle Of Armor? I just finished the story last night, not due to difficulty because while my main team is in their 70's (My pokemon for raids are much stronger, ev trained and have some good IV's, my main team are not. And funny enough all came from raids themselves) nothing really posed a threat to me. Even in the final fight not using any items I only had one pokemon faint. And yet Mustard still decided to go on about victory slipping through my fingers as he gets a crit on my pokemon, it stays alive and then his dies from recoil damage leaving him two mons to my five.
I spent most of the time catching and evolving everything I can before even going into that last fight, and I have to say going around with my pokemon fulling me is my favourite thing about the DLC. Catching everything in general, is just one of my favourite things in general. But even that didn't last long, I caught almost everything but two pokemon I wanted in my first day of the DLC, the only things I need was fog to get a Zorua and a sandstorm to catch a Scizor (so I didn't need to trade for one). I never did get the fog, but I did find a Zoroark wondering around and finished catching all the pokemon I can catch in the sword version.
Honestly even with what was only a short playtime of what is the story, I still rather enjoyed the DLC and just wondered how everyone else is doing with it?
