Look at the villains now on the table. Doctor Doom. Galactus. Kang. Norman Osborn. Annihilus. Super Skrull. There's plenty for them right there, and that's not even counting the X-Men stuff. Also, I'm really hoping we get a classic Defenders movie at some point with Doctor Strange, Hulk, Valkyrie, and Silver Surfer. Man, for how f***ing long do non-Marvel people own Namor's film rights? Forever?!

Also, I'm really hoping we get a classic Defenders movie at some point with Doctor Strange, Hulk, Valkyrie, and Silver Surfer. Man, for how f***ing long do non-Marvel people own Namor's film rights? Forever?! In a word, yes. With the acquisition of Fox Marvel will own the production rights to every character except for the ones held by Sony. Universal hold the distribution rights in perpetuity for solo movies featuring Hulk, She-Hulk, Namor, and the associated characters within those franchises. Marvel can make movies featuring those characters as supporting characters without any restrictions (hence Hulk being prominent in team-up movies), and can make movies with those characters as the title characters, but Universal have first refusal on distribution and would then be able to claim a significant percentage of the box office. So, basically, Universal cannot use any of those characters without Marvel, and Marvel cannot distribute a movie for those characters without Universal, and neither is willing to budge on the matter.

Ok, so here's my pitch for the MCU post-Endgames with the new characters Disney now has at its disposal - we go the Exiles route. At the end of Endgames Thanos is defeated, but a handful of guys, led by Iron Man, are trapped outside of the main MCU. They wander up to a familiar looking mansion where James McAvoy wheels out and says something to the affect of "gentlemen, my name is Professor Xavier, can I help you?". Then we do a movie or two where Iron Man's team teams up with the X-Men traveling from universe to universe trying to find their way home. Along the way they could also pick up Tom Hardy's Venom, and meet a new version of the Fantastic Four, things like that.

I think the tv side will be more stream lined and play a bigger picture going forward. With the Netflix shows over (the two year hold will be over before you know It) and AoS probably ending next year. I see Marvel using some of those characters on their Disney+ shows or on Hulu. Cloak & Dagger / Runaways are doing their own thing at the moment but even those can crossover later on.

Doom's time is coming. Mark my words. He's been in Latveria watching all this Thanos nonsense, and horrific portrayals of himself in terrible F4 adaptations.

God there is so much stuff they can do with Doom now. He could have studies all about Thanos from his invasion of earth and become an even bigger threat

I'd like to see a mid-credits scene with someone watching news reports on whatever the final battle happens to be on a monitor, the camera pans down just for a view of a steel-gloved hand on the keyboard

After buying that building at the end of "Black Panther", Black Panther finds out that every building surrounding it has been purchased by the Latverian Benevolent Fund.

(Or the news mentioning Reed leading the FF to saving the world if it was a FF movie)

They could explain that Thanos wiping out half the life in the universe has somehow triggered an acceleration in evolution, thus creating the X-gene.

My idea with that was the x gene existed and shield knew about it but it was only in like .0001% of the population and post end game to fix it causes a population boom till its like .001% It let's them keep things like Holocaust survivor Magneto in universe.

That needs to be updated. Its too long ago at this point. Update it like Iron Man used Afghanistan instead of Vietnam. There have been other ethnic cleansings since then.

Didnt hurt Captain America, just claim that the X-Gene, along with giving him the powers of magnetism, can also extend life.

The difference with cap is that he's always a man out of time and resurrected decades after the war ended and most of his friends are dead.

Whats Magneto been doing for the length of time of an average mans life before deciding to become a terrorist.
