"The Old Glory ______" gag was hilarious. I watched it again earlier and thought it was hilarious, it's on the 10/14/99 Thunder if anyone is wondering.

I'm watching the Nash episode, and they cut out a great bit. Before the PI/Berlyn match, they showed an ad for some WCW figures, and when they cut back the arena, Nash said, "What's with me doing a job in that commercial?"

I figure the rights for the toy figures might be in a bit of limbo. It's a shame, because some of those commercials are great. Like "Nash's Powerbomb."

They're just inconsistent about editing that stuff or keeping it. Some Nitro/Thunder episodes on the Network will have an ad for figures or an ad for the Revenge video game while other episodes are missing them.

They go from Stevie Ray vs Sid as the main event to a few months later bringing in the stars like Bret, Sting, DDP, The Outsiders, etc. That's pretty wild. That was Russo's doing. He and Larry Zbyszko did a segment on Nitro where they said Thunder was bad because it was the B-show and needed the top stars. In December 1999, the Thunder tapings moved to Tuesdays so that the big stars would work them. Russo also ended the practice of having 2 Thunder episodes (one live and one taped for a week later) at the same show. This seems like it would improve the product (or at least the star power) but also burn out the talent really quickly.

Very much this. The shows seem more important with the stars being there and stuff happening but too much happens that it’s mind numbing so it negates any positives gained by the stars being there.I don’t need to see Jeff Jarrett & The NWO 15 or more times on a 2 hour show, matches that are 2 minutes or less, multiple swerves per segment,a bunch of random people coming out during random matches that have nothing to do with anything. Its a jumbled mess. One of the 1st all stars shows within the 1st month opens with: Madusa vs Asya The Revolution is at ringside arguing. Oklahoma comes out to do commentary. Miss Hancock comes out and just starts bending over in the entrance. The match goes like 60 seconds.Saturn costs Asya the match. The Revolution argue until Shane sided with Saturn against Asya because she’s just a woman. The Filthy Animals come out and Brawl with The Revolution. Juvi and Psychosis comes out and Juvi tries to steal Tony’s announcing job. Terry Funk comes out beats up Juvi and powerbombs Psychosis through the announce table. Funk calls out the NWO and They come out. This was only the 1st 5 minutes of the show wwe today doesnt do that much in an entire 3 hour raw.

I think that would take it to May, right? That would include the David Arquette win and Randy Savage's last appearance in WCW.

Which one is the night where Mike Sanders gets repeatedly attacked backstage (Jarrett, Daffney, Kanyon)? Is that from 2000? Or is it earlier?

On the 5/3/00 show they include DDP hitting Kim with a guitar when on the tbs airing they don’t show it and ddp teleports into the ring and hits Jarrett with the cutter.

The 2/2/00 show has all hype for Hulk Hogan’s return even showing him getting out of the limo in gear saying he’s next but his in-ring interview with Mean Gene that features the angle with Luger & Liz is edited off the show and instead we see him in street clothes getting in his limo and leaving with announcers talking about what an impactful return he made but on the network version it just looks like he drove to the building in full gear, got out of the limo to change into normal clothes and then leave the building.I love when random stuff gets edited off especially when its the biggest angle on the show.

On Thunder 105, at the 1:03:38 mark, Mike Tenay tries to throw to a video on The Wall, but it doesn't play, then Bobby Heenan accidentally calls Tenay "Tony" before correcting himself. Tenay doesn't acknowledge Heenan's mistake and talks some more about The Wall, then the video is actually shown this time. Was this on the TBS broadcast, or did they edit it?

No, after Tenay says "The Wall" it goes to the video montage on the TBS version.

The Network airing also shows David Arquette falling into the hole in the stage at the end of the show when Jarrett and DDP are fighting. That was not aired on the TBS version. Also, for some reason, the Hogan/Kidman spot at the end where Bischoff hits Hogan in the leg and both guys go through the announce table was shown on TBS, but on the Network, you see Flair and Savage celebrating in the ring right until the moment the table breaks.

Its so weird what’s edited and unedited I just watched the 5/24/00 show and they show DDP spanking Kimberly in full but when it aired on TBS they cut to the crowd but on worldwide they aired it in full.

With the blood thing, I wonder if the Network was the original version taped, and when they saw how bad it was they aired the alternative shot on the actual show.. but WWE have posted the original shot by mistake. Edit: I looked it up and this appears to be correct, it seems that WWE has posted all of the original taping's before it was edited to air on TBS so you will likely see a lot of bloopers that were edited.

On Thunder 117, during the segment where 3 Count debuts "Sing Along with 3 Count," the shots of Tank Abbott watching them as they sing are completely different on the Network version.
- On the Network, the first shot of Abbott shows him walking down a hallway, bobbing his head to the music. On TBS, the first shot of Abbott is him watching a monitor.
- On the Network version, you can see 3 Count on the monitor that Abbott is watching. On the TBS airing, the monitor is off camera.
- Abbott is wearing a shirt in the Network shots and is shirtless on the TBS edit.
