Man, I look forward to shareholders panicking after the first loss and they close the whole thing down just like every single other Disney attempt at developing video games!

EA aren't in any danger. As far as Disney are concerned, licensing I free money, EA take on all the risk and pay up even if they don't put anything out.

At least one open world Star Wars game is a must, but also give us an open world Indiana Jones game.

I assume this is just managing the IPs and not in house production, and it wouldn't be any of the old Lucasfilm/Lucasarts people anyway.
If it means Disney is getting more serious about properly exploiting its Lucas IPs for games, then that is great news.

As long as we get a Star Wars openworld game, that’s all that matters.

Considering how terribly EA's handled the Star Wars license, I hope this means them shopping the IP to other publishers outside of an exclusive partnership with EA. Even if it means no in-house development.

I mean, that's what EA's doing with the Star Wars license already. Well, pay to win mobile games and two pay to win TRIPULL AAAAAAAAAAY games.

well I guess that's probably the actual end of the Old Republic...
but... I mean EA's not really done shit with the licence since they've had the exclusivity.
