HUGE changes to the NASCAR schedule in 2020.
- Season finale will be at ISM in Phoenix
- Daytona night race moves from July 4 weekend to the regular season finale.
- Indianapolis race moves to 4th of July weekend.
- Martinsville spring race moved to a Mother's Day weekend Saturday night race under the lights!
- the West Coast swing (Vegas, California, Phoenix) moves up a week and Atlanta goes from the second race to 5th.
-Pocono will be a doubleheader, Saturday and Sunday June 27+28
- Bristol's night race moves to September as part of the playoffs
- At the end of July, NASCAR will have 2 weeks off (due to NBC's coverage of the Olympics)
I think I covered all of it.

The second Charlotte race is the Roval so all types of tracks are covered in the Chase which is neat. I would have liked to have seen 'Dega or Charlotte in the round of 8 to so each quarter had a wild card type race but this is still going to be fun, IMO.

Homestead-Miami has gone from the season finale to an early March race.
Being the July 4th race isn't going to help attendance figures for the Brickyard, though. NASCAR is not designed to be watched at IMS.

DO A MONSTER CUP RACE AT ROADAMERICA GODDAMNIT Hopefully they address the lack of road courses (and short tracks) when the current track contracts are up in 2021. Homestead-Miami has gone from the season finale to an early March race. Being the July 4th race isn't going to help attendance figures for the Brickyard, though. NASCAR is not designed to be watched at IMS. Unfortunately, more than anything, it gives fans an excuse to miss the race for the holiday weekend, as Indy has been a snoozer of late.

Atlanta desperately needed the date of that race moved to later in the season. 5th race is still pretty early, but certainly better than the 2nd. It's way too cold to be racing in Feb in ATL
