Verlander wins the AL Cy Young. Even though he doesn't deserve it.

People are going to root for the destruction of Tropicana Dump. Still the worst stadium in all baseball.

Also with Strausburg signing that pretty much says Rendon is gone Apparently, Strasburg has about $80 million deferred because he wanted to keep the core together. This gives the team an opening to try to keep Rendon.

I wouldn’t rule out a trade for Kris Bryant tho as they can stand to give up Robles in a deal The only tricky thing with Kris is the fact he could be a free agent next year as I believe he will challenge the Cubs after the f***ed him over for an extra year of service

MLB announced that MLB: The Show, which has been Playstation-exclusive, will be going multi-platform starting in 2021. Considering Sony develops and publishes it, wonder how they're going to pull that off.

Betances' agent: Rays: You also pay for your own medical out your pocket You also pay for your own parking at home games and their team plane is the one from Major League but a X painted over the logo and underneath says "Rays" in 1996 IBM perforated printer paper taped to the plane.

Sony actually owns the trademark for "The Show," so if Sony wasn't involved they'd have to change the series name.

The inside roof is made from all the old contracts people signed I'm pretty sure that Astro turf is still the old turf Minnesota used to use

The 2K games got so f***ed up by Take Two's greed with in-game gambling and microtransactions. Same with EA's sports games. The Show lucked out because Sony is a first party publisher so they don't need to be so aggressive about monetization.
Apparently, Sony is making the game cross-platform. This will be very interesting to see in action.

Nationals sign Strasburg to a reported 7 year, $245 million deal. That contract may come back to bite them if he can't stay healthy but he earned it Cole may close in on $300 mill at this rate. 8 for $275 I think is the price range now or 10 for $300 i'm sure Boras is aiming for MadBum might get his $100 mill at this point as well So everyone is finally catching on to what the Nats knew for years. Starting pitching is extremely important.

It is a copy cat league, the trend is coming back around to having true Aces on a staff Having a good starting pitching staff with an excellent BP was the trend but we are back to the motion now where a shut down Ace is getting the value back

I just meant with spending crap loads of money for the starting pitching.

Seems the Giants might be the high bidders on Castellanos. Anyone want to give me a brief scouting report? Is he legit? Flash in the pan? Will his 20+ home run power translate to SF if he indeed signs?
Shows how much I pay attention outside of SF and the World Series because I’ve never even heard of him.
