The Harper bat flip and Trea Turner injury hurt yesterday, but glad the Nationals turned it around with a win. They've blown leads in both wins this year though.

Yanks continue to struggle with Detroit. It's gonna be a long season I wasn’t going to say anything before I look at the fact that they struck out 18 f’in times this afternoon. I’ve been saying that the Yankees offensive profile is flawed, particularly in the postseason and has been for years now. This homer-happy approach is onerous to watch when the team is not hitting a lick. The offensive approach needs to change, particularly with so many key bats out of the lineup already. But then again, Cashman and analytics!

The Mets bullpen is imploding again. Diaz once more called for a one out save

Only 5 games in, but the Cubs may have the worst bullpen I’ve ever seen. Yet another blown lead from these bums.

So Jacob deGrom became the 5th player to homer and K 14 or more guys since 1969 (Bumgarner, Carlton, Seaver, and Gibson are the others.)

I like how we are like 10 games in or less into the season and 2/3rds or more of the league's team's fans are already howling at the moon in anger, even of some of the teams doing well. Love baseball, there is always something to complain about!

Yankees were down 3-0 to Orioles at the end of the first inning and you could hear all Yankee fans about to scream in anger if they lost this game today
8-4 ended up being final score with Gleyber doing big work
11 players on the IL this early has really stretched the depth

Love baseball, there is always something to complain about! It's truly a bizarre game when the most positive team around is the Fightin' Phils. Everyone's already at 2008/9 levels of happiness right now.

I know it's still early but this roadtrip has been terrible. The Sox held their starting pitchers back during spring training and it shows. Hopefully coming home and getting their rings get them back on track.

The Cubs are averaging nearly 8 a game...and they’re 2-6. The pitching has been...not good.

Domingo lost the no-hit bid in the 6th and the shutout on a passed ball by Romine (with him out of the game already). But man, remember when Chris Davis was a legit MVP candidate? Because he's yet to get a single hit this season and his hitless streak goes back to last season.

What would the Natinals be without that characteristic trash bullpen? A better baseball team, that's what.
