Giants only up SIXTEEN - ZERO in the 6th inning. Lol Just finished 19-2 Crawford had 2 homers and 8 rbi. Crawford joins Orlando Cepeda and Willie Mays as the only SF-era Giants to have 8 rbi in a game.

Ok tomorrow I'm intentionally walking d'Arnaud for every at-bat lol. Or maybe pitching him inside might help. Every HR he's hit against the Yankees have been to right or right-center.

Sabathia needs to come up big tomorrow, and the Yankees needs to show up for once, what is the matter with them, they haven't done nothing in almost a couple weeks. This offense needs to better. I want 10 runs tomorrow.

Well that was a crushing loss for the boys
Credit to Travis for basically being a one man wrecking crew but yeah throwing him that pitch after he smoked it all night was dumb. This L is on Chapman who you expect to protect a 2 run lead

It is dumb to hit someone because you can't get them out especially when they not show boating you Throw them on the inside to get them off the plate but to directly hit them because you can't get them out is a relic of the past that needs to die Throw better or don't throw to them at all

I'm going to go out on a limb, as an admitted slight homer, and state that UrinatingTree's opinion that the Twins miss the playoffs is an ice-cold take.

The All-Star game broke Will Smith. Should have traded him earlier.

For the rest of the year, just issue warnings before every Astros vs Angels game.

Personally I think they're both in the wrong. If what Price said was true and Eck agreed to meet then backed out of a then that was wrong on his part. He should give Price a chance to explain himself. However if he doesn't want to speak to Price again I can't blame him. What Price pulled two years ago was one of the most bush league acts I ever heard about and he deserved every bit of the backlash he receaved. And I don't know if any apology offered would be sincere. In the two years since the incident Eck has appeared to moved on. He hasn't taken any unfair shots at Price even when others have. And the only reason he mentioned the incident here was that he was specifically asked in the article. And apparently all that he said was that he didn't want to speak to him. It seemed like he doesn't want to talk about it. He probably should have just said no comment instead but I don't think he was trying to pick a new fight with Price. (Full disclosure I haven't read the full article itself. It's behind a paywall. The information I'm getting is what I've seen and heard elsewhere. If I'm getting somthing wrong I'm sorry but I'm going with what I know.) Unfortunately that quote made it to Twitter and it set David Price off. As much as I love Price he is notoriously rabbit eared and thin skinned. I had hoped that winning the World Series and finally shedding the choker label would help Price with this but apparently not. There was really no need for him to bring this up again. And Price claiming that no one wanted to be on Eck's MLB Network documentary (completely untrue by the way) that was just a unnecessary cheap shot. It's a damn shame that this has to keep coming up. With the Red Sox in danger of falling out of the playoff race this is the last thing they need to deal with. I hope they can find a way to resolve this because I like and respect both men and hate for them to be remembered for this.

I hope they can find a way to resolve this because I like and respect both men and hate for them to be remembered for this. While I was on Eckersley's side following the incident back in 2017, as David Price was clearly in the wrong in publicly dressing down a broadcaster like that for a fairly innocuous comment, I'm taking David Price's side on this latest flare-up. First of all, what the hell is The Boston Globe doing digging up the corpse of this feud that's two years old and was totally forgotten about? Are the clicks from their never-ending effort to humiliate Robert Kraft subsiding? But beyond that, all Eckersley had to say when asked was that it's in the past and he's moved on. But the reason Price's hackles are up - and justifiably so - is because Eck totally reignited the issue by saying "I don't plan on saying a word to him, I don't plan on seeing him, never. I don't really give a (expletive) one way or another. I don't think he really cares one way or the other." Eckersley could have acted like an adult when the question was posed to him, and he really should have considering he and Price will have to see each other in ballparks and on team flights for the duration of the season, but instead he pulled the same prima donna, look-at-me s**t that got him dunked on by Marcus Stroman earlier this summer. Price is totally justified in being frustrated that Eckersley brought this issue back to light.
