I have tried to get into them every year, but outside of a few series, the NBA playoffs are usually a complete dud.
Sure there has been some exciting Western Conference Finals, and the NBA Finals in 2016 was great, but the games (especially in the first round) are often blowouts and not that interesting.
Don't get me wrong, I love basketball, watch a lot of the NCAA, I just don't see what is so great about the NBA playoffs. It seems for every great game, there are 10 duds in the playoffs.

Just wait until the semi finals or finals of each conference. I can’t get into the first couple of rounds because they stretch the games out so far that there often like 4 or 5 days between games and the series take forever,
I’d be fine with them making the first round 5 games again.

I'm interested in the Milwaukee Bucks this year. I would like to see them be the team that dethrones the Warriors this year.

Eastern Conf will be some fun match-ups. Might not watch the West at all tho.

Playoff match up this year isn’t that bad and unlike previous years the East is up for grabs

The Eastern Conference Playoffs should be fun and decently open. Can't really say the same for the West.

The eastern conference second round and onward is going to be awesome. I legit have no idea who’s going to make it out between Philly, Toronto and Milwaukee and those series are gonna be fun.
I also think Golden State is more beatable than they have been in previous years so I think the western conference finals and the NBA finals are gonna be nail biters

If you loved the chalk results and unexciting basketball of the first two rounds of the NCAA tournament this year, boy does the Western Conference have something to show you!

For the first time since 2015, it's not a locked-in guarantee that the Finals will be Golden State versus Cleveland. So there's that.
Also, the second round of the playoffs could be wild, with potential Toronto-Philadelphia, Boston-Milwaukee, and Golden State-Houston matchups all being distinct possibilities.

The East in particular has a lot of interesting matchups. I can see one of four teams in the East making it into the NBA finals.
As for the West, well, Golden State looks vulnerable for the first time in some time. Just need to hope for entertainment's sake that the top players not on GS can stay healthy. Leonard in 2017 and CP3 in 2018 getting hurt just about killed those series.
