Is PAC still going to be at the show? Word is that PAC won't be doing anything with AEW until he drops the Dream Gate Title, which will allow him to fully commit. My money is on Moxley replacing PAC in that match. That'd make a lot of sense.

Bumping this thread, as it's the next show and it will have a big in-ring debut for AEW: Oh god its going to be a zoo in Daytona. Its still unlikely to sell out but people will certainly want to be there for Moxley's in-ring debut

An event like Fyter Fest absolutely shows you that nerds run this company and I love it. Between the pun on the infamous Fyre Festival and being a joint venture with a freakin' fighting game tournament, it's a very eclectic mix.

I think it has a decent chance of selling out, especially if they and CEO tie in attending the tournament with tickets for the show. IIRC, it's also not that big a venue either.

I was there last year and basically everyone that was at CEO attended the event, the issue is that Daytona is an hour away from anywhere and isn't that big of a town. You'd need a fair amount of flight ins to sell out. Moxley might bring in those fly ins though so you never know.

It's also a vacation town, going to a show and the beach is definitely something I'd do if I could Especially for Mox/Janella holy shit

Mox vs Janela should be fun.... just keep both away from the bars until after the match

Which is nice because the beaches were only half full but the neighborhood is kinda scary and a enough people at CEO ran into problems with crime and racism that it became a minor news story within the fighting game community and Jebailey had to go to the city government to see if they can do anything about it for next year. That being said there was a lot of positive feedback from last year and I expect more people to show up to CEO since hotels in the area were already starting to sell well before Fyter fest was even fully announced. I'm really really looking forward to this now though

Mox is gonna have himself one hell of a June, between the IWGP US Title match versus Juice on the 5th and fighting Janela at Fyter Fest on the 29th.

Moxley/Janela should be a great 20 mins match, with Moxley going over but at the same time elevating Janela.

PAC is no longer being advertised for it.
Wonder who his replacement would be in the 6 man tag

Something tells me there's more going on with PAC than folks are letting on. The whole thing and how mysterious folks have been about it would indicate we don't know the whole story, whatever that may be.

Maybe, but I do wonder if that is them trying to not put heat on PAC or DG about it, if at all possible. If PAC straight up said "I can't lose, DG told me" or something, DG would get a lot of negative attention, and PAC would look like the biggest mark.

I might have to eat my words when it comes to this thing selling out because it seems to be selling quite well. Almost everything on the floor is done and a large amount of tickets up the mid levels are gone as well. They might get close

But that's at the absolute highest capacity. Could be less for wrestling seating.

Yeah, I think it’s just a matter of nipping it in the bud and preserving for long-term plans.
