Yeah, I was already on board with Disney+ already from the news, but this all but confirms I'm getting a subscription day 1.

It this comes to Canada, I’m in. Yeah, I mentioned in the other Disney+ thread that it’s absolutely asinine Fox never worked out a streaming deal for Simpsons in Canada.

It's going to be so weird to open a Disney app to watch The Simpsons.

Hi I’m The Simpsons. You might remember me from such streaming services as “Simpsons World” and “Hulu”.

I really liked what they did with Simpsons World, but since I'm getting Disney+, it won't impact me too much.

Take this with a grain of salt but going through the FXNOW app (which has gotten a complete overhaul; sadly the option to watch episodes in 4:3 and the commentaries are both gone) and I saw that Stark Raving Dad is back up.
Given that FXNOW now relies on a Disney/ESPN log in on my end here in the States makes me wonder if the episode will be on Disney+ after all.

Almost every? Ah. So they'll not be including the Twin Tow-- Every episode will be available, except for Stark Raving Dad, which has already been confirmed as being removed from all services due to the aftermath of Leaving Neverland --oh. Never mind.

FXX On Demand on Xfinity cable has "Stark Raving Dad" right now and may have had it this whole time.

Only because I feel that the whole concept of "cancel culture" is bad. It's a dangerous power because it gives those who wield it permission to be ultra-selective on who gets the wrath of their cancel culture, even to the point of double-standard-ism. Being very angry at one thing, but not at all angry towards similar stuff... There's "Itchy & Scratchy: The Movie" where they mention Michael Jackson. There's "Bart Sells His Soul" where they mention Michael Jackson IN A NEGATIVE LIGHT (and it is indeed because of the allegations against him). How about other questionable episodes that are perfect for cancel culture: How about "The Homer They Fall" where they basically satire the actual sexual assault conviction of Mike Tyson? How about "Beyond Blunderdome" with Mel Gibson? How about "'Round Springfield" or "Saturdays of Thunder" or "Bart the Lover" or "Guess Who's Coming to Criticize Dinner?" or "Helter Shelter" or "Milhouse Doesn't Live Here Anymore" where they mention Bill Cosby? It's a very slippery and dangerous slope. Sure, Disney can keep their own questionable movies still in the vault, that's one thing. But for just one Simpsons episode out of the 600 or so? Idk.

Doesn't Matt Groening have ties to Jeffery Epstein? Why not pull all the episodes?

Doesn't Matt Groening have ties to Jeffery Epstein? Why not pull all the episodes? LOL I'll pretend you said all the episodes after season 10. In related news, Treehouse of Horror episodes will now be part of Freeform's 31 Days of Halloween. (If you can find them amidst all the Tim Burton and Tim Burton wannabes...) You forgot the one that WAS cancel cultured 18 years ago: Homer vs. City of New York. Again, do what WWE does if you must apologize for references that don't age well: put a disclaimer before said episodes. I wonder what happens when Disney goes through the 1994 Fantastic Four series and notices the one or two episodes where the World Trade Center is in danger or destroyed. The Spider-Man '94 episode where the original WTC bombing is referenced? The Amazing Friends episodes where Red Skull's henchmen say "Heil Hitler!" Conspiracy theory time...now I am wondering...is being because of Finding Neverland just a cover-up? MJ DOES sing a song in the episode...did he write it? Cause Sonic 3's issues have shown us that clearning many MJ tunes and compositions is a monumental task.

Gross. www.thedailybeast.com/virgina-roberts-giuffre-alleges-jeffrey-epstein-ordered-her-to-massage-matt-groenings-crusty-feetTL'DR. One of the accusers in the Epstein thing named Groening as a passenger in at least one flight. She was 16 and forced to give Groening a foot massage. She said his feet were disgusting, and washed them first. Groening drew her sketches of Bart and Homer made out to her brother and dad. Aside from the gross feet she seems to describe the interaction pleasantly, though obviously calling the context of the interaction problematic is an understatement.
