Who do you think walks around with a big ego that they shouldn't have?

Vince Russo strutting around in his basketball jerseys chomping his gum like he was the biggest star on the program.

I mean, we had an entire thread dedicated to Brimstone's delusions of grandeur. Dude's never wrestled anywhere of note, never wrestled anyONE of note, no one on here can find more than 1 or 2 of his matches, if that, and yet he thinks he's a multi-media superstar.

Shane Douglas always seemed to have a greatly inflated opinion of himself when he really only had success in a moderate sized independent promotion for a comparatively short period of time.

Kevin Nash has to be up there.
He's a charismatic dude, no doubt. But considering how badly his '95 run went, and the fact a lot of his booking tenure in WCW hurt the company, he really has no right to pull the "how's your territory doing" spiel.

Vito. I interviewed him once and was shocked at how huge his ego was. He said that his dress gimmick was one of the most loved angles by the fans and he was campaigning for WWE to hire him, Guido and Johnny the Bull to reunite the FBI. He was sure it would be huge for WWE and claimed fans were asking him to come back all the time. This was in like 2011.

I couldn’t tell you the biggest. I’m not sure I can chalk this up to ego or not but it was strange. I went to a show and there was the typical set up where they had a few gimmick tables and people were out signing and selling stuff. Mike Sydal was standing there looking at us and smiling and kept introducing himself as “I’m a Sydal” and then he’d nod his head as if to let us know it was true or that made him special. Everyone that passed by got the “I’m a Sydal!” treatment. Not Mike Sydal. Let’s say you have no idea who Matt Sydal is. You’d be wondering what a Sydal was. It was awkward to say the least.

Although he seems to have found his place now, Teddy Hart. Disagree, Teddy Hart is LEGENDARY and will always be a talked about figure in pro wrestling history, even if for all the wrong reasons, and even if he never made any big money! He has also carried on the legacy of the British Bulldogs, Jake The Snake, and Koko by involving his cats in his presentation. He's a unique character in a wild industry who people will remember for decades to come! And having an ego is part of the charm! He greets thee with a smile, because he goes the extra mile!

Guys, I think we found Teddy Hart's forum account.

That's honestly the thing that puzzles me the most. You'd think he'd find someone of note to wrestle. There are plenty of guys who have found some kind of name value somewhere who are still affordable enough, some of whom would probably be fine doing the job, even, but no. I've never seen some Brimstone match turn up with so-and-so from the mid-2000s or a late WCW Power Plant guy or anything, not even an FCW washout. If he's such a money mark, I don't get why he's never ponied up the money for that. Even bigger nobodies than him have done it. He really must truly believe he's a star who doesn't need it.

My favorite Brimstone thing is when a relative of brimstone went to r/trashy to talk about him, the entire community was essentially "That's Our Brimstone!" www.reddit.com/r/trashy/comments/2ulq1i/my_friends_relative_is_a_pro_wrestler_who_claims/

He's not even the most famous person with that name. If he told me he was Mike Sydal, I'd just say "You don't look like the guy from The Weather Channel."

A name that gets brought up in these types of threads a lot is Paul Roma. While I do agree he seems a bit...self-confidant...in his interviews regarding his career, I also look at that career and thing "Yeah, I can see why you're full of yourself." His debut match was for the WWF, between the start of Hulkamania and the first Wrestlemania, and was a tag title match. He was employed for almost seven straight years and was on TV for almost the entirety of it almost constantly. Three Wrestlemanias under his belt (granted, one of them was a dark match). Went over to the competition and was immediately placed in their top stable alongside Ric Flair. Holding gold there twice with Arn and twice with Orndorff.
I can see why someone with that sort of career would have the ideas about themself that they do.

Brimstone. f*** that guy.
Jabroni had ten matches and his Wikipedia page is bigger than Flair’s.

But but don’t you know that he came up with every big money idea in wrestling and he got fired from ovw because he was too good? I swear the f***er is worse than Mike Graham.
