So over the last while these are becoming somewhat normal. I think the talent bloat bubble is popping. It's fine, they'll call up Undisputed Era, Dream, Riddle, and Baszler to take over handling all the nothing he was doing.

Yeah, but how many times will it work out before Vince decides he doesn't care? You can only play this card so many times. I don't think so. They're so desperate to keep people now that they're pushing big contracts and promises and early resignings onto people, if Vince is going to pull this shit a whole bunch it creates a situaiton where everyone gets unhappier and those negotiations become harder. Letting some people go is as much a negotiation tactic. Also from a financial standpoint, it won’t affect them that much to not have people on the roster, especially if some decide to forgo their 90 days to go straight back into it. Heck, Hunter’s probably always got his eyes on others he wants to sign especially with AEW being able to match the deals he’s offering in the case of Piper Niven almost going there before joining WWE.

He's one of those guys who's been in WWE too long where Vince has his mind made up about him even though he's never really been given a chance. Supposedly Vince soured on him during his short IC title run and that was that. He will do fine wherever he goes, WWE's roster is stacked with too many talented people and the landscape is finally opening up where they can risk the job security.

Remember when people were really getting behind him during the Orton/Bray feud? God, it's like the worst thing you can do in this company is get over on your own accord. You can just see Vince's insane micro-managing ass fuming over stuff like that and Rusev Day because it wasn't part of the "plan".

There is just too many good performers on the roster for everyone to get the spot they deserve. He is obviously hungry as hell and has been wanting more for a long time, I hope he gets out there and finds it. On the other hand, I don’t know if there is anyone who has a prominent spot that Harper should have instead, so a nice amicable split seems right. Right there is always going to be more talent than important roster slots avaliable. It's like that in a lot of businesses so sucks for Luke but hopefully he lands on his feet.

He probably saw those new Wyatt videos and said “that’s it, I’m outta here”

Not surprising, can't blame him for not wanting to sit around in catering twiddling his thumbs and having no story.

I thought he was going to be huge in the WWE when I first saw him. Shows what I know! The thing is, when he was signed, back in 2012, that was a reasonable guess. He had a great look, the size, and the skill, and it was known the company had had eyes on him for a while. It's freaking bizarre the turn his career took once WWE went into "SIGN EVERYONE!" mode.

Him in AEW as MJF's heavy? Yes please. "Look I hired you to protect me but the contract specifically states you need to keep a five foot distance at all times. You think with as much as I pay you that you could afford better hygiene products."

I don't think it even got to that point; he was f***ed the second he cut a promo without the Southern accent Vince decided his character should just have. It killed his singles push off and ensured that for one specific insane and unreasonable reason Vince wasn't ever going to favourably do much of anything with him.

See, people are saying BC for Brodie(let's call him that for now), but nah, I want him straight kicking guys skulls inside out as a part of the sadistic Suzuki-Gun. Then again, that could just be because I like Suzuki-Gun better than BC. Also, if he gets his release, PLEASE let him do at least one match in Chikara. I miss the Big Rig. Make him ZSJ’s heavy. That’d be great.

Good, he was never gonna be used in the WWE after the AJ and Orton feuds lead to nothing. Writing was on the wall, dont squander the prime of your career any further.
AEW or New Japan will absolute use him to the best of his abilities, THE BIG RIG IS BACK!
