I like Catwoman, so unlike most of y'all I won't pick that. I will however pick BvS because its one of only two movies I've seen in theaters where I really wanted my money back

Going just with superheroes based on pre-existing comic books? Easy, and it ain't Catwoman. It's Faust: Love of the Damned. Is that the same Jeffrey Combs who has been a number of supporting alien characters in various Star Trek shows?

The first Resident Evil, I'm deathly afraid of elevators because I gout stuck in one that dropped 10 floors as a kid. One of the first scenes in that movie is a gory elevator one. I didn't even finish the movie, I ran to the ticket counter and tried to get my money back and failed. I had nightmares about that shit for months

Anybody alive actually watch Electra and can weigh in on it? Elektra is a pretty fun martial arts movie if you can get past the fact that it isn’t like the source material at all and has a slow start. I actually saw it in theatres and own it on dvd.

Post Blade, which I would consider the start of the modern superhero movie genre from a popularity, production level, and overall aesthetic, I would have to say The Scribbler. It’s got an ugly and weird picture of mental health, awful writing punched up with terrible jokes, an inscrutable plot and a weird mix of over and under acting. youtu.be/NGuLWlLuEZMIn terms of something more mainstream, probably X-Men Origins: Wolverine for managing to miss the mark on so many levels despite having talented actors who cared about the project and a huge production. I haven’t seen a number of the most well known monstrosities like Catwoman or Fan4stic though, so perhaps they might take the cake.

Out of the all the X-Men movies Origins is one of my favorites. Yes it’s bad but at least it’s so over the top that I find it quite enjoyable. Plus it’s the only film to have Gambit.
The first one was just alright. The second was painfully boring. The 3rd was a car wreck but at least stuff happened in it. First class was great at the time, but the focus was on Magneto, Processor X, Beast and mystique. Nobody else mattered. so much that the other mutants were killed off screen between films. DoFP would have been a great ending to the series with Logan being a coda. But they mucked that all up with the hot mess that was apocalypse.
dark Phoenix doesn’t look much better, followed by what ever the hell new mutants is. There’s nothing salvageable from this franchise besides Deadpool. Hell the second solo wolverine film was so forgettable I forgot to list here. For a 20 year franchise that help kick off the superhero boom there’s more bad than good and rest is just kinda there.
Not counting the Deadpool films.
1) Origins 2) DoFP 3) First Class 4) Last Stand 5) Logan 6) X-Men 7) Apocalypse 8) The Wolverine 9) X2

I was gonna say..on a technical level, Origins could be a contender for the one with the most potential to be the most underwhelming...but it still comes off as more entertaining than some other films being mentioned.

Surprisingly ASM 2 Hasn’t been mentioned yet. That made Spider-Man 3 look like an Oscar winner.
Just like Origins I’ll defend spider-man 3 until I die. Yes it was a busy mess of a film but everything matters and it was all connected no matter how dumb it wa. You can start Spiderman 2 at the cafe scene and lose nothing. Till then it’s peter and mj mopping back and forth with doc ock disappearing for the middle part of the film.

I'm still convinced that Sam Raimi intentionally half-assed Spider-Man 3 because he was pissed over having to put Venom in the movie.

My new theory is Venom takes place in the ASM universe. Because why not

That’s definitely a real contender it gets so much wrong so quick.

BUNNY WHIPPED features people you've heard of like Rebecca Gayheart and Joey Lauren Adams, but is otherwise a no-budget comedy about a sports writer who becomes a costumed vigilante for basically no reason. It's not funny or dramatic or action-packed or anything you hope for in a movie. You wonder how people with a modicum of fame got attached to it.

Anybody alive actually watch Electra and can weigh in on it? It's just really really boring. You can tell nobody wants to be in the movie and there is very little emotion in the movie. Another one that should be mentioned is Jonah Hex. Not just because Jonah was given a lot of powers he never had in the comics but the movie just makes no sense. I think Josh Brolin even said he felt like DC were trying to make make an awful movie because there was no way the script was that bad unintentionally.
