Wonder how Bryan got injured. He seemed fine during the match and even post-match when he was with Brie and Birdie.

- According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, both Daniel Bryan and Sheamus were not at WWE television this week due to injuries. Johnson noted regarding Bryan’s injury coming off Wrestlemania 35 is that the “nature of the situation has been closely guarded.” I hope I'm wrong, but that sounds pretty ominous. I hope it isn't head related.

If it’s head related, then he’s for sure done. And if he is? He went out with a f***ing bang.

Based on nothing but my own eyes I thought those kicks to the head Kofi gave him towards the end of the match looked very hard and Bryan actually started covering up with his hands after he let a few land. I hope it's not another concussion.

That “closely guarded” doesn’t sound good...

That really sounds scary for Bryan. If it's a concussion dude needs to be done. Shame he would be going out as a heel but dang there isn't much better of a wrap up than going out on a five star Wrestlemania world title match.

Even if it's not career ending, it's probably time to start slowing him down. No more TV matches, definitely no house shows, only PPV exclusive.

If it's an injury bad enough to be described as closely guarded, dude should hang it up. Won't be any shame as this was the best run of his career and he helped put over Kofi Kingston big time...

What exactly does “closely guarded” mean? But if Bryan does retire, it wouldn’t feel right having him go out as a heel but obviously his health is more important. If he is healthy enough to return, he should just immediately do the redemption Angle and retire at summerslam or mania next year

If it's something that keeps him out for a while or even for good, at least he went out in one of the best WM matches ever. The whole show was about him vs. Kofi and they delivered big time.

If it's a concussion, it certainly sucks for him but Kofi is going to likely suffer the wrath of management.

I know accidents happen, DBry was basically a ticking time bomb with his history/style, and it’s hypocritical as all hell to be pissed seeing as my boy ALI nearly caved DBry’s face in, but if it’s a concussion from Kofi... I’ll not be a happy camper, to say the least. Hopefully it’s not as ominous as it seems and we’re jumping to unnecessary conclusions.

My guess is it’s an issue of taking time to assess whatever the hells going on. That way they don’t throw him back on the product or bench him impulsively.

If it's serious, and I mean REALLY really serious, I hope people doesn't blindly blame Kofi for this.
If anything, it's Bryan itself who took a series of scary-as-hell bumps during this last run. One time Aj Styles fell on his head to reverse a back suplex from the top rope, then he was almost killed by Ali, not to mention he had the balls to face Brock Lesnar...

That “closely guarded” doesn’t sound good... Knowing how thorough and intricate his concussions tests were that he needed to clear after each and every match, it honestly tells me that he didn't pass with 100% certainty after the WrestleMania match. Whether it can be attributed to simple fatigue or not at this point is anybody's guess, but I'm willing to bet the WWE is going to keep quiet about it until people have somewhat lost interest and quietly provide results if he doesn't return within the next month or so.
