I’ve been big into blending and green smoothies. Love my nutribullet and it’s really upped my vegetable intake.
Lately, I’ve found myself fortunate to have a looooot if fresh fruits and vegetables in my home and I don’t want them to go to waste. I usually freeze them, but It actually got me interesting in getting a juicer so I can go through a lot of them in a short period of time. I usually save the pulp and put it in a smoothie later.
My concern, and reason why I prefer blending (specifically with my bullet), is that I’ve heard the clean up is quite a hassle. You build quite a bit of pulp and have to take apart the machine to clean. Also looks quite loud and the machine looks pretty big.
So far, I’ve seen some used (they’re super pricy new) and I’m wondering if anyone has/recommends the Jack Lalanne series? Any difference between the white plastic looking one and the silver stainless steel one?

I don't own one but I've heard they're worth the investment assuming you use it often.
Get a higher quality one because the cheaper ones will break down / clog easier.

Had one, didn't like it. Pain in the posterior to clean, and it takes a lot of some veggies to get just a little juice.
If you already have extra fruit and veg around, then you'd probably be OK because it's better than wasting it. I just found that I would have been buying a lot extra to get a less-than-equivalent amount of juice.

Did someone say juicer? Hey, I'll give the guy credit- his infomercials made me really want to buy a juicer and try some of those recipes.

Did someone say juicer? The Juiceman Juice Extractor was where it was at even if his eyebrows were unsettling.
