Why does everyone hate him? I would like a bulleted summary of this also. I wasn't really paying attention much from about 2005 to 2012 and am not clear on what he did to sour everybody (especially post-WWE). In his YouShoot interview, I thought he seemed like an OK guy.

Is there any worker who is missed less than Ken Anderson?

He did start his TNA stint by giving the same hackneyed “WWE was holding me back!” speech as all the other former stars. That was pretty aggravating to me.

Unfortunately, I don't think pro wrestling feels the same way.

Is there any worker who is missed less than Ken Anderson? Damien Sandow and Matt Morgan would also come close, but at least they weren't cokeheads who almost took down a beloved women's wrestler with him.

I liked him but im guessing its one of the following
= The steroids interview where he denied being on them and the following day being busted for them = Kept getting injured = the Orton incident = Causing Cena's injury to his arm with an hip toss in 07 - but to be fair Cena's hiptoss looked like he was going to damage himself or others = repetition of the intro with the mic = TNA comments/run

At his age, anything above just working with his local shindie is probably too much to ask for.

His steroids interview really came across like CM Punk's "I'm a locker room leader!" speech, where he was putting himself way above where his actual status was. Never a good look.
And then he got busted immediately!

In 2006-07 he was probably my favorite wrestler although the fact that he was from my home state was part of it as unless I'm forgetting somebody I don't think there was ever a main roster WWF/E wrestler from Wisconsin until him. Getting injured all the time eventually caused me to lose interest. I thought his 3 PPV feud with Undertaker was pretty good and probably the peak of his run. Don't really know why he's so hated so much on here. I didn't watch TNA so maybe it has something to do with his run there

I actually enjoyed Anderson during his Aces and Eights run.
I believe a lot of resentment he earned was for being one of Hogan's handpicked signings to TNA, pushing aside AJ, Joe, Beer Money etc.

Seems a lot more switched on and normal than I'd have given him credit for.
He was just very bland in the ring, but he'd get a good pop in the Rumble if/when him and the WWE patch things up.

For a long time, Mr. Kennedy was my favourite wrestler. I thought he could have been the next Steve Austin. Maybe he could have been.
I was rewatching his feud with The Undertaker on the Network and man... what an underrated feud. And who would have ever thought he would be a good rival for The Undertaker? I mean, he’s not a giant. He’s not a boss. He’s not scary. He’s just an annoying douchebag that you couldn’t wait to see get absolutely destroyed. He killed it during this feud and if it wasn’t for his disastrous interview about the steroids, he might have gone all the way to the main event and beyond.
I advise anyone to watch that feud again. My favourite segments were by far the one where he attacks Taker with the microphone and THAT promo where he’s sitting in the dark room. One of my favourite promos ever. This wasn’t your typical “I want your title/I want to beat you” feud... it was full of good moments like the blood shower and that brilliant Last Ride match had some classic moments like Taker popping up in the back seat and Kennedy just throwing him off the stage.
Come to think of it, his feud with Angle in TNA was amazing too.

I saw him have a great match with Marty Scurll in 2017. I saw him have a great match with Nick Aldis in 2018.
If we can have a PCO and La Parka resurgence (both of whom I think are doing incredible work), I think a Mr. Kennedy/Anderson suddenly putting the pieces together into something really special wouldn't be entirely out of the question.

I think about the 300th time he said asshole in his big babyface run in TNA got him ridiculously stale, and once a guy like him has his entire act go, he's got nothing left.
Though I will give him credit for actually being really good as the Starscream of Aces and Eights (and his reaction to #AUGUST1WARNING Tito Ortiz was the stuff of legends), but of course, TNA went into the opposite direction and turned him face after only a few month in a role, and it killed him again.

Never understood the hate either. Clearly could be a good hand somewhere. Commentary? Manager? He wasn't even that bad in the ring just clunky but it suited him and some of it was done of purpose to make himself look unorthodox.

His feud with Batista around Rumble 07 was good as well and his schtick of bragging about beating a number of former champions (all by dq/fluke) was entertaining too
