The WCW version of Black Cat was actually used as background music in a Matlock episode in 1992. The scene was Matlock checking out a strip club for leads on a case and the strip tease music was Rude's theme. I wonder if it was one of those fair use themes that any one could use (like WCW's Lex Luger theme being used by WWF for the hotline) and I think WWF's Hardcore Holly and/or Hardy Boyz theme was used for a commercial non wrestling.

Outside of about 15 themes around 1993 that were written for specific wrestlers, WCW had no original music until Jimmy Hart was hired.

Funny enough, he is one of the few talents who was used much better in WCW than WWF. If not for his injury, I think he could have been the top guy there, both heel and face, for years. Also, it is a shame that the Dangerous Alliance is not one of the more talked about stables in wrestling history. They were amazing. WCW Rude is one of my favorite characters ever. Best US Champ ever.

I've heard Holly's and the Hardyz theme on World's Craziest Police Chases.
