Just got in from seeing it in the UK. Truly amazing, loved every minute, loads of emotional reunions and an ending to remember. Just brilliant.

Absolutely tremendous, I'm amazed at how well they've pulled off the culmination of ten years of build up.

Oh, separate but dumb thought;
The Russos were so close to reaching their Community cameo quota. SO CLOSE!

I've gotta say: {Spoiler}The film finding a way to incorporate Cap saying "Hail Hydra" without doing a certain controversial comics story from the past couple of years was neat.

That was unbelievable. There felt like a billion of those sort of in moments and stuff that felt like they were aware of their history and aware of the comics {Spoiler}The A-Force one is another one because JESUS, that somehow worked way better than expected.

I couldn't help myself and read the plot synopsis on Wikipedia. One line got me out of bed and punching it in elation: {Spoiler}does Cap really get to wield Mjolnir?

I'm literally crying just at the thought of it. I don't know how I'll be able to handle myself seeing it on screen.

Endgame marks the first time a character introduced to the MCU via a TV series has crossed over into the movies. {Spoiler}Edwin Jarvis from Agent Carter. Let's hope it begins a trend, as many of the actors from the various TV shows have made the roles their own as much as the movie actors.

The fanboyism around this movie, and Marvel movies in general, is a bit overwhelming, and it weirds me out at times how people care this much. (I'm a grumpy 40 year old, I has grumpy reasons, I know this.)
*reads Endgame Wikpedia page*
..................my comment still stands, BUT GOD DAMN THEY HAVE A GOOD REASON TO BE SO FANBOYISH.
This movie, if that was in fact a proper plot synopsis (I've read fake ones there before)...... wow.

That would've been a good spot to sneak a few of the TV actors into the action and give them a couple of moments to shine. Just have Strange explain that he found other heroes who were inspired by the Avengers' example of doing good.

A quick shot of Daisy quaking a few Outriders or Punisher blowing the crap out of some Chitauri doesn't need any explanation as it's a cool visual, putting them a level above the nameless sorcerers and Asgardians but not stealing any shine from the primary cast of heroes.

And to think, this all wouldn’t have happened if that rat didn’t bounce Scott out of the quantum realm lol.
Also, while I actually liked the scene, the part where the movie focuses on all the female heroes immediately made me think, “Oh great, those people are gonna bitch again.” I really wish it didn’t have to come to that.

So does Sharon Carter still exist? Is Steve now her great uncle? Was she erased from history or stuck with the knowledge that’s she’s made out with her new great uncle?

So does Sharon Carter still exist? Is Steve now her grandfather? Was she erased from history or stuck with the knowledge that’s she’s made out with her new grandfather? Steve would be her uncle by marriage rather than a blood relative. Still pretty creepy, though. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}They really play fast and loose with the rules of time travel. Changing the past seemingly doesn't affect the future, since Nebula killing her past self doesn't cause her to wink out of existence, but then Steve goes back in time to put the Infinity Stones and Mjolnir back where they came from before they're missed, and then he's Old Man Steve in the same timeline, so changing the past did affect the timeline.
Unless we are going with the predetermination theory, in which Steve was always destined to go back and be with Peggy. But that would mean time is a fixed route, and it cannot be changed. Only it's not, because Strange was able to see 14 million possible timelines depending on their actions (and, presumably, the actions of that rat).
My head hurts.
And how does Loki being on the loose again with the Tesseract play into things? One must assume that was the setup for the Loki TV series.

Seen it. Loved it.
General observations until I get a chance to rewatch.
Cap becoming worthy got the biggest pop of the film, followed by Wakanda’s finest appearing.
Saw them killing Nat off from the start, but still amazing to see.
Should have seen Tony’s death coming. It all started with him. Fitting it ended with him.
I love the fact they wrapped up the OG Avengers stories. Thought Old Man Steve was a good feelgood moment though gutted Bucky did not grt the shield. Guess Sam has more progression in him now than Bucky whose story has been written.

Should have seen Tony’s death coming. It all started with him. Fitting it ended with him. In hindsight it makes Strange giving up the Time Stone in exchange for Tony's life a much darker act. He would've known that if he let Tony die there, everybody would die, but if he saved Tony's life it would only be a postponement, and Tony would have to die later and leave behind a daughter. Having that kind of knowledge would really suck. They've already started calling Bucky the White Wolf, so I expected Sam to get the shield. I expect to see Bucky pop up in further Black Panther movies. Plus we have Falcon and The Winter Soldier to look forward to, and hopefully we shall see a budding bromance between Steve's besties.
