The theater was packed and people were frantically looking for seats. Two families brought in babies, which had everyone worried. We got nine freakin' trailers and it felt like the movie would never begin. But then it did, and the magic happened. I have a few nitpicks, but I will give this an overall A-grade.
While I can still remember them, said trailers were:
1: Star Wars 2: The Lion King 3: Hobbs & Shaw 4: Rocketman 5: The Hustle 5: Long Shot 6: Gemini Man 7: 21 Bridges 8: Godzilla 9: Something else. I can't remember.
Now for my thoughts and random observations:
1: You know how Deathly Hollows 2 was basically two hours of fighting? That was Endgame's third hour, and it was beautiful.
2: The crowd marked out when Cap used Mjolnir and even moreso when Thor says "I KNEW IT!!!"
3: I was a little meh about the final boss being a Thanos other than the one from Infinity War, but dammit, did they make it work.
4: The moment we got that scene with all the women fighting, I immediately knew there were man-babies raging somewhere.
5: AMERICA'S ASS!!!
6: I kept having to remind myself that this wasn't taking place in a post-Apocalyptic world and that society and civilization still existed.
7: Out of all the returns during the final battle, I think Scarlet Witch got the biggest cheer from my theater.
8: Going in, I assumed Vision and Gamora would return. Gamora sorta did, but I'm surprised Vision stayed dead.
9: I'm a little bummed we didn't see Cap and Red Skull together.
10: Of all the time traveling efforts, the New York one was definitely the best. Those scenes had so much going for them.
11: Professor Hulk needs his own film. Now!
12: Ant-Man is one of my favorite MCU characters, so I was glad he got a lot of screen time. Surprised Captain Marvel wasn't around much, either.
13: I would totally live in New Asgard.
14: Cap's ending was the perfect way to go out on this. It was great to see him finally reunite with Peggy.

Only trailers I got were Brightburn, Lion King, and Star Wars. My theater doesn't tend to show very many.
... And the guy next to me was still complaining about how long it was taking.

I loved the movie. Had its flaws but was still one heck of a ride. And they found a way for Loki to stay alive. Spiderman Far From Home has to take place before the events of Infinity War since it is the last movie of Phase 3. Lastly, I am looking forward to see what they do next since they are taking a year off after Spiderman.

Also really liked the cast credits, with everyone getting clips from their scene before the original six got special credits with their signatures

Wasn’t it mentioned that Peggy got married some time after Steve went down? So did Steve screw over that random guy by staying in the past to be with her? Kind of a dick move there lol.

Random nitpicks: The captain America ass jokes seemed kind of weird and out of place Doubt anyone in the theater is gonna get the kid from Iron Man 3 thing The all the female characters team up moment was pretty harmless but was jarringly weird when you realize that most of them don’t know each other at all. Leaving Vision dead felt real weird to me. I get it, but it’s still weird. Cap staying in the past is a real nice moment but it doesn’t make a ton of sense. Especially given his knowledge that his wife’s organization is infiltrated and destroyed by HYDRA. Think of all the dinners he’d be going to with Pierce or times he’d run into Zola. I definitely left the theater thinking that the death toll was too low, but upon further review of what’s left as an Avengers roster it isn’t too bad. It was cool to see a moment of Sif being brought back, but I don’t think we got another moment with her. Kind of weird. I really don’t know if the movie needed the huge gratuitous battle scene. I enjoyed it, but perhaps the movie would’ve been a bit tighter without it. But this is all real minor stuff. Movie is definitely an achievement and quite enjoyable. Sif? I totally missed her.

I knew the damn time travel crap was going to leave me with so much confusion. I’m surprised the universe didn’t explode.
Nebula killing herself.
Gamora still being on the loose and away from Thanos before he can get the Soul Stone. (Which also means Guardians 1 never happens.)
Thanos being killed before he actually does the damn thing that caused the movie to happen.
But whatever...I liked it.

The idea was that those didn't change the present because that's an impossibility. Instead those created alternate timelines where those things had occurred - the movie effectively created a multiverse. That said, don't ask me to explain how that meshes with Old Steve at the end, that was just plain a plot hole.

Sif? I totally missed her. Jaimie Alexander isn't credited in the movie and there's lots of people bitching about how Sif wasn't in the movie, so I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the OP was mistaken.

Yet somehow they were able to get Natalie Portman for a days work. Also I guess Fury and Peter didn’t meet at Tony’s funeral?

One of the biggest reactions in my screening was Cap deceiving the Hydra guys and swaggering out of that elevator like a BOSS.
But yeah, I marked like crazy when he held Mjölnir.

Literally the only way that it can work within the rules the movie plays by is that the guy Peggy married was Steve, always was Steve, and they just kept the relationship secret for decades, and that we have to believe that an Alzheimer's-ridden Peggy has presence of mind to pretend to Steve in Winter Soldier that she hadn't seen him since 1945. But, as others have pointed out, that means Steve didn't intervene with Hydra hiding within SHIELD, leaves Bucky in Hydra's hands for 70 years, and let the Starks die. Even if we take the belief that those things have to happen to make sure the time stream doesn't become corrupted, it's hard to believe someone like Steve would willingly stand by and let so many innocent people suffer and die while he lives in wedded bliss. Evidently with Tony dying they wanted to create a happy ending for Steve and not bum the audience out (as well as leave the door open for Evans to return), but it does feel kinda clunky.

Also there's clear nods to Tony's death in the trailers, and several months ago a leaked plot synopsis of the movie specifically said Peter dealing with the loss of his mentor is a central theme in the movie.

I watched this today. It was so good and an emotional roller coaster.
Ever since I started watching the MCU, I became attached to Captain America. It's very bittersweet to see him get a happy ending.

In hindsight, Sharon Carter was totally willing to make out with a guy who looked exactly like her great-uncle who in fact actually was her great-uncle? That's rather weird.

Yet somehow they were able to get Natalie Portman for a days work. That looked WAY more like stock footage then actual Portman. Especially since the first shot we see Foster opened the door to speak to the person outside might as well had been someone else wearing a wig.

Also, really interesting to hear who got the biggest cheers from people because especially during the big fight, it was a mix between everyone from Titan (Peter got mega popped), Valkyrie, Scarlet Witch, Falcon, Bucky, Pepper, Captain Marvel, and a few other moments here and there. Oh, Steve getting Mjolnir got everyone going crazy, me especially.
Outside of that, there were few really good crowd reacting moments but considering most of us saw Infinity War before then, “I aimed for the head” got clapped so hard.
And honestly, the movie was just fanservice moment after fanservice moment so if the rules of time travel had to be messed around with so that we got Cap vs. Cap and the really great conversation Thor had with his mother, eh, so be it.

The old Steve stuff.
Banner said it would take as long as he needed but for them it would only be 5 seconds.
I took it as him completing his mission and then deciding to live his life in the past with Peggy in the alternative time line.
Then after his lived his life (perhaps after Peggy passed) he returned to the present to give the Shield to Falcon.
