"And remember, all you have to do, is let me in!" Holy shit, that's creepy.

And here it is for those of you (like me) who missed it. That is genuinely so unsettling. This is great.

To be fair, any other WWE version of this, they’d been all kinds of filters and weird crap going on during that point that whacked you on the head with that over and over. The fact they didn’t do that, not even a DWERP at the end...they honestly should be given props for letting a segment breathe.

Yeah, just that little bit of distortion when he came back up with the gloves on. That was enough. JUST enough to let you know something hinky was going on.

I mean there was the weird filter when he held up his HURT HEAL gloves complete with dissonant whispering. as well as the voice of the Buzzard having the weird after effect.

I dig this. Scared that certain people in power won't get it and will have it quickly nixed, though.

Wyatt's also a better actor than his previous gimmick showed. Sure, he's always been great on the mic but he's acting in ways here that he didn't touch in his past years. When he said "you're going to love them" I was thinking "damn, dude can pull this off."

Gimmick nonwithstanding, this is probably the best shape I've seen Bray since...well, ever. Good on him for not slacking on those months off and getting himself proper healthy, he was starting to look a bit Husky prior to his departure...

So my question is, how this will translate in the ring. It doesn't really seem like the sort of gimmick that will have a lot of legs outside of pre taped segments.
But with that said, it has to be better than the shit he was doing before. Good god, I can't fathom it being worse.

Bray Wyatt is the number one trend on Twitter, still 30 minutes after RAW ended

Sure, but I saw that more as Bray showing parts of the old person he’s moving away from or teasing it then “LOOK HE’S GOT A CHAINSAW AND HE’S STILL TWISTED, LET’S MAKE THE CONNECTION FUZZ UP AND DOWN AND STAMP THIS INTO YOUR BRAIN” that they did with, like, 75% of the Woken stuff. as well as the voice of the Buzzard having the weird after effect. Sure, but on the other hand...it’s a bird so it wasn’t exactly going to sound human with a human like voice. Nit picky, sure, but again, built an ascetic on a character WAY better than usual.

You know, Poppy DID let WWE use one of her songs, didn't she?
She'd be one hell of a guest for Bray's funhouse.

I just saw it and rushed over here thinking y’all would either hate it with a fiery passion or love the hell outta it like I did.
Glad to see most of you on board.

When he said "you're going to love them" I was thinking "damn, dude can pull this off." Yeah exactly. Bray is a super talented guy who’s just always had shit to work with. You can tell he has a lot of influence with this character and the writing for it.

As a gimmick does need to translate to the ring... but yeah... it would take a lot to be worse than what he was doing

Guessing it'll be Waylon Mercy-style, even moreso than Bray had done prior, offering guy's handshakes and such in a very fake way, but still being vicious. Between his HURT HEAL gloves, him saying people just have to let him in, and his claiming to have prophetic dreams, guessing he's going back to the cult stuff, just, with a different approach. This is way more, well, Psalty comes to mind, or creepypastas of kid shows.

Brah, the little moments where he puts his hands to his head and starts f***ing talking to himself? Ah nah, he on some other shit, haha. That's the first time in a long time I've been scared by this dude.
So, the impression I'm getting is that the cult leader is switching up the way he delivers his message. The overall message is still the same. I can keep you safe, lead you to the light, there's even a puppet buzzard for you to follow. Now, he's dressed himself up in different clothes and he's desperatly trying to convince you that he really does want the best for you. The format of a children's show is particuarly creepy when you consider how impressionable they are. He's not able to have you join his cult? That's fine but have fun losing your child to it.

Honestly I don't think it'd be that hard. Have him come out all happy and sunshiney, showing respect to his opponents, and then just beat the absolute f***ing shit out of them leaving them in a broken heap, only to then shake their carcass's hand after the match like nothing happened.
