If anything, this would be more reminiscent of a Monokuma Theatre skit than the persona that interacts with the characters. I need to see Bray rant about how every red food secretly has lobster in it. "Red foods are red because they have crab inside of them! The crab industry and the apple industry, THEY BE LYING TO YA, MAN! Puhuhuhuhu! DEH!"

A host of a kids show took a chainsaw to a cardboard cutout of himself while laughing hysterically.
This has serious potential.

I’ve always been a Bray Wyatt fan, and this is genius. It was legitimately creepy. Like others have said, as long as he comes back and destroys his opponents, then smiles sweetly and shakes there hands afterwards, then this will be the fire needed to get him back towards the cult character he should have been from the start

Getting real Borash/Broken Matt vibes with this. Wonder how much they are involved creatively with this...

It's not often you can say it about WWE especially but I have never seen anything quite like this in wrestling.
I am 100% behind this gimmick and can't wait to see where it goes.

As someone who's been a fan of Wyatt since FCW/NXT days I'm so f***ing happy right now with all the love this is getting.
It's brilliant, just devilishly wonderful, and I'm glad Wyatt's brainchild (at the moment) is going over so well. I was skeptical in the "oh god what are they going to do to ruin him this time?" mindset, but holy hell was I proven wrong.
f***ing bravo.
Keep Vince away from it.

I would haved loved this bigtime if it werent for the two weeks of masterful ominous promoes that happened beforehand that got me primed for ultra-diabolical sadistic Bray Wyatt, stemming from that iconic great laughing bird promo.
Those bird promoes were made for somebody challenging Seth Rollins for the Universal championship.
This just took all the anticipation I had from those two promos and just abruptly flipped the table.
If this happened after WrestleMania or without previous promos, I'd probably love this a lot. We will see

That... was something. It's intriguing, for sure, but I'm not certain how it'll translate into a wrestling character.

I've been saying for years that Bray Wyatt conceptually would be great in anything but modern WWE, where there is just no care put into trying with him and there's no basis to tell long-term stories like that. This whole segment was so weird and unhinged and sinister that it vindicates that whole idea; the dude has good ideas and it's f***ing messed up, but he's been failed by a show that barely cared to tell stories with him and was happy to just make him 'a guy'. The only difference between Bray circa a few years ago and Elias now is what they carry out to their promos. But this here? This is the good shit. I have no idea how it will translate to the ring and how long Vince is going to care. But for now, more.

The one where the bird started coughing up a lung in the middle of laughing?

Said it back when this board had reached peak Bray boredom: he's an amazing performer, and the creative rut he was stuck in was never his fault.
This could be brilliant. Just keep Vince's fingerprints off of it.

The only way to make that segment (or really any segment) better is to have new Bray crawl inside old Bray's butthole and expand.

Man, I loved every second of this! The Hurt/Heal gloves, cutting a cardboard cut out of himself with a chainsaw while laughing hysterically, it was just brilliant. It's kinda weird though that here i'm seeing a lot of love for this, but Twitter seems to hate it.
I'm on board - I want more.

So, I enjoyed that segment. Don’t take this the wrong way, I’m no trying to be a Debbie Downer, but how is this going to translate to actual angles on the wrestling show? I guess we will have to wait and see where they go with it, but sometimes gimmicks are fun and good for videos like this, but how do you incorporate them into a feud on a wrestling show?

I guess we will have to wait and see where they go with it, but sometimes gimmicks are fun and good for videos like this, but how do you incorporate them into a feud on a wrestling show? It'll probably be easy enough. Just have him even more liberally borrow from the Waylon Mercy concept, doing stuff like shaking his opponent's hand, holding the ropes open for them, and other outwardly friendly gestures, but then slip in stuff like choking or other brutality, when the veneer of this "good guy" slips and he gets nasty or loses his temper. Then go right back to smiles.
