I am really shocked she is still employed after what happened, I expected them to pay her for another 6 months to sit at home and them quietly release her as to not draw attention too it. They would look bad firing someone with issues like she clearly had straight away.

She could be a good manager/valet/hanger on for any number of wrestlers. I suggested the other day that she could be a co-presenter for Bray's funhouse show, and her brand of craziness would add to the surreal nature of it. But if not, she could be a Sherri-type disruptive presence for a heel midcarder. Just don't have her wrestling.

Major Wins in a 13 Year WWF/E Career Tracking List Bret "Hitman" Hart (1984-1997): 5x WWF Champion, 2x Intercontinental Champion, 2x Tag Team Champion, 2x King of the Ring, Royal Rumble co-winner Alicia Fox (2006-present)- Divas Champion for 2 months Find a woman thats been on the main roster as long as Alicia has and then compare The next most tenured woman on the roster in terms of a single unbroken run would be Natalya (2008-present), who was Divas Champion for about two and a bit months in 2010-2011, and then was SmackDown Women's Champion for close to three months in 2017.

I believe they should have fired her for showing up to work intoxicated. Why? Michael Hayes has been doing it for 20 years.

I believe they should have fired her for showing up to work intoxicated. Well they fired Arn. So close enough, I guess? He had average skills.

Yes she could easily be a good manager, but they seem to ruin the manager roles after a short while much like Lana and Zelina Vega.

I still find her and Maria's spot in this year's Rumble to one of the worst in recent memory.

People are often surprised she has been employed (well "independently contracted") for so long.
But I think that's the reason she is still there. She's part of the history now, is a former champ too, that's usually worth something for the company. They rarely release wrestlers that have been so long there, since some time. It would just bring some bad news and shoot interviews.
And they've proven they have no problem to stack talent. They will just wait till Alicia retires.

It would just bring some bad news and shoot interviews. And they've proven they have no problem to stack talent. They will just wait till Alicia retires. Until recently I didn't find it that surprising either that they always kept her around as I figured she was just one of those people they kept around because she was a good employee who didn't cause trouble or whatever. Also unlike the other people usually thrown into the "How do they still work there?" category like Tamina and the Colons I do think she has some usefulness on the roster in an enhancer role as she's talented enough in the ring (albeit sloppy) but isn't that good where you can use her to put over better talents higher on the food chain and not feel too bad about it. You always need people on the roster like that. However with the reports about her showing up to work drunk, showing up late, and refusing rehab it is baffling at this point that they're still keeping her on. Jeff Hardy and Umaga, both of whom were way bigger stars then Alicia, refused rehab and were immediately terminated. Also one of the other girls that was in that tag match that got Arn Anderson fired posted a picture with all of them before the match and Alicia clearly looked buzzed so I think the reports are pretty legit. I guess you could be right though about her being a former champion. It was probably why they kept Jack Swagger around so long back before they even started their hoarder philosophy even though they he did next to nothing his last couple of years, with him then eventually leaving on his own terms after his contract expired.

She is in the Summer Rae position as far as not being good wrestlers yet can bring something to the table. Cause not unlike Summer Rae it's girls that "get" this business as far as characters and what to do in storylines and that is rare. You keep them around like WCW used to do with Sherry Martel.

This is actually a really good point. You can choreograph a match with any athlete or even non-athletes, but the character stuff is so much harder.

I think the difference is people, like.... care about Sherri Martel? I can't recall anything Alicia Fox has ever done that actually got a reaction.

Honestly surprised she still employed, she been in the WWE for as long as she has, she still only passable. Plus her issues. I know it sounds mean but the truth can be at times.

When she first did the crazy bit which I think was a riff on Beyonce's sister or something, people were actually interested for a couple weeks because it was new and intriguing. However, it was quickly dropped because we can't have nice things and now she just occasionally does odd stuff because crazy but at the start there was actual interest.

Honestly, as bad as she is, I find her more entertaining than many other Women Wrestlers on the roster.

How is she still a botch machine after all this time? Does she just not work on polishing her craft when she's not on screen?
