Well being that someone insisted, here's a thread for that!
Guess I'll start with what I mentioned in the 80s thread: like the Crocodile Dundee moment, "THAT'S A MAN, BABY!" from Austin Powers.
And off the bat, ECW and Attitude Era-type humor and stories in pro wrestling.

someone - I have a name!
that been said
Ace Ventura with the whole Einhorn/Ray Finkle and Ace's reaction to it plus the ending with other people's reaction
Can't Hardly Wait uses a gay slur, other then that found it an enjoyable teen movie
American Pie - film a girl (nadia) without her consent, she is the only one who gets any punishment
Scary Movie - a 00s one, but the Ray character in the first two movies, literally the only thing about the character is that he is gay

South Park has acknowledged in show (through the PC season and introduction of PC Principal) that their early humor is outdated and unacceptable. Right off, the Pig and Elephant episode when the kids ask Chef how to get them to have sex, and he says, “The same thing I do: get em good and drunk.”

What’s un-PC about that line? I'm guessing the monkey part “Monkey’s Uncle” has nothing to do with any other racial slurs involving “monkey”. It just means that you’re surprised at something and iirc it comes from discussion of the theory of Evolution.

I'm glad it has nothing to do with it. I've used the term Son of a Monkey's Uncle, but was never sure if some guy would be saying racism.

My friends and I used porch monkey as young teens to describe just hanging around on our front porches. None of us had any idea it was a racial thing. I was completely clueless until I saw Clerks 2, and I just died laughing. My wife's mom used "African Engineered" as a mocking PC way to say N-word rigged. My wife was so completely clueless about what it really meant that she used "African Engineered" in front of a black co-worker. Luckily they were laughed about it when she explained she had no idea.

Watching Pirates of Dark Water as I mentioned elsewhere and Ioz constantly trying to put down Tula by saying “woman.” Paraphrasing here but stuff like, “You don’t know anything about sailing, woman!” That kind of stuff.
Also, THAT Jerry Lawler promo where he says a gay slur about Goldust. Also, that gay slur Bret Hart said about HHH and Shawn Michaels. Pretty much any time wrestling and gay slurs go together it’s not good thing.
Even on the Indies before he was busted for attempted pedophilia or whatever the exact charge was, Rob Feinstein worked on the Indies as the Fun Athletic Guy (think about it for a second). I can’t remember if that only started in the 2000s though or dates back to the 1990s.

(I never knew/thought much of the origin of the phrase)

You can pick and choose through all sorts of In Living Color skits. A lot of it will still get a laugh out of me, but some of the material has definitely aged.
There’s one with Keenan Ivory Wayans as Billy Dee Williams. Look it up and you’ll see why it only aired once.

Going back on some of the Disney Afternoon shows, there are quite a few Asian stereotypes. Two to bring up are the Rescue Rangers ep "Puffed Rangers" (Awful stereotypical Asian broken English in the original version. Later redubbed) and the TaleSpin ep "Last Horizons" (Pearl Harbor satire)

I was completely clueless until I saw Clerks 2, and I just died laughing. I was in a similar boat with the first Back to the Future movie. One of Biff’s friends calls Marvin Berry and the Starlighters spooks, and I had literally no idea that there was any sort of racial connotation until that scene in Clerks 2.
