Seems like for all their dragging out the announcement of a release date it may've leaked - PSN for Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Indonesia has it listed for February 20th. Given that version would have English support that's pretty likely also when we'll get it.
Oddly long wait from the one release, but don't really mind, eager for Royal but don't really mind the extra month to wait to drop the money on it. I've been kind of thinking March ever since they said Spring 2020 anyway.
Guess that settles that they're not doing the discount thing with the first game's DLC that they did in Japan.
I really just can't see dropping that much money on DLC for this game. Some of the Personas maybe but the costumes are basically useless given you really only see them in palaces which are a fraction of the game. Futaba in particular I don't know why they even bothered giving her DLC costumes given you really only ever see them in save rooms.
I'm a little confused. So the DLC for the previous game can be used for Persona 5:R? So the R ultimate edition is new DLC and costume packs?
Apparently, yeah. The blurb says the DLC is, "Free for all Persona 5 Royal players."
Okay, I was trying to justify a $99 price tag for the Ultimate edition. I guess that makes sense. I'd still wait a couple of months for a price drop for those wanting the ultimate edition.
