Here's the thing, your judging political correctness through the lens of today. Because it's not politically correct today doesn't mean it wasnt in the time frame. Plus political correctness is dumb, imo. Anything someone finds offensive can be considered politically correct to one and not to another.

Mentioning pregnancy.
In, I think it was I Love Lucy they had to usr the word "expecting" because "pregnant" was too sexual a word.

And wasn't Psycho the first movie to actually show a flushing toilet on screen? Yep. Hitchcock put a shot of the girl's butt in the shower scene just so the censors would freak out about that and forget the flushed toilet, which was plot relevant I believe that was the script writer's idea, after the script was finished. Hitchcock would only add it if it was intergrated into the script without adding a scene. So he connected it to getting rid of the note.

Having the word 'bollocks' in the cover of an album.
Even had a trial over it and everything.

Stalking. I remember guys staring at women in public or trying to find out information about them. I knew some women that had to deal with stuff like that when I was a kid. People found that kind of behavior unacceptable and extremely creepy. Now there are forms of social media like facebook and snapchat where women encourage you to be one of their followers and see all their pictures, learn about their interests and possibly learn personal information about them. It’s basically a form of legal stalking. Times have certainly changed.
