I know Vince demands these things but that does not make them any less annoying.
Mine is mentioning someones accolades or full name mid match. 16 time world champ for example. It is Flair or Ric, we know his accolades, hype them during entrances. Or the Beast Batista. Just say the Beast. Or Batista. Not the full damned thing. HHH nicknames are fine, but when you do we do not need you to add his name in the same bloody sentence.
Did you all know my building foundation expert, answers only directly to the boss, single brother is 42.

The fake laughing from Cole has ruined so many moments.

Overdoing pretending how the match is over when you know they're gonna kick out. Like most people have their trademark false finisher like the blue thunder bomb or falcon arrow etc but they still act like it's astonishing they kicked out.

Whenever Cole growls and stretches out a word to symbolize somebody's strength.
"The STREEEEEEGNTH OF CENA~!"
All time awful trope. Knock that shit off, lmao.

This is why I want these moves to end matches every so often. I think Zayn actually did win a match with a blue thunder bomb once and everyone went wild haha. For some reason those kind of moves only work in either huge 10 man tags or gauntlet matches. Like Kofi can suddenly win with an SOS.

"Right to the skull!"
Any time the commentators have to tell us that something is funny, or that someone is having fun. It's insane that Vince's micromanagement tries to extend to controlling how the audience feels about a segment.

Anytime Batista comes off the top rope Cole: "I never seen him do that before, I swear I haven't." Outside the fact yes you have.

"*big man* has never been manhandled like this before!" Yeah, Undertaker, Big Show, Braun, etc. have NEVER caught an ass whooping before.
"I talked to *whoever* earlier." This is why nobody gets over or has character, they can't talk for themselves. The time Cole said that Sarah Logan emailed him, I was like, "Get...the...f***...outta here."
"It's Boss Time/The Big Dog/The Beast Incarnate/etc.!"
So much of it is annoying and stupid.

Stop saying that the show/match is "rolling" or "rolls on". It's annoying as hell.

Like most people have their trademark false finisher like the blue thunder bomb or falcon arrow etc but they still act like it's astonishing they kicked out. As annoying as certain catchphrases are, this is the absolute worst part of commentary. It kills the suspense of the near fall because commentary telegraphs that the opponent is kicking out.

Mauro's cringe inducing popular culture references make me physically sick. The annoying thing is that I love his enthusiasm for the product and think he's a positive impact on the NxT commentary team and is a great ying to McGuinness's yang when he's not trying to quote a song or mention the latest film. Ergg.

Overdoing pretending how the match is over when you know they're gonna kick out. Like most people have their trademark false finisher like the blue thunder bomb or falcon arrow etc but they still act like it's astonishing they kicked out. This, absolutely this. And it's not even just this era that's guilty of it. It's a Vince trope that goes at least back to the 80s. They'll sometimes throw a curve ball and have it actually be the end of the match, but it's extremely rare. So any time I hear "It's over!" or "We have a new champion!" or something of that ilk, I immediately know there's a kickout incoming.
