William Regal hasn't wrestled since 2013. Will he ever have another match, and if so, against who?

Isn’t his neck messed up and he had surgery which basically put an end to this ever happening? No, he won’t sadly. ☹️
He really, really deserves to be in the Hall of Fame some day though.

William Regal was a class act when I met him 10 years ago. I really wanted him to win the title back then.
He absolutely deserves a HOF induction. Hopefully next year.

Between his neck and other health issues since, I'd say no.

Think he said a few years ago for health reasons he wont and im guessing he's happy in his NXT role and probably will rise in the Hunter/Steph era

his neck is knackered so I dont think he will ever have a match again, I'm sure he shared an x-ray of his neck on twitter a few years ago (round about the time Tyson kidd had his career ending neck injury).

It's for the best that he never wrestles again and continues to impart his knowledge on the next generations.

iirc he was away from WWE for a while last year due to ill health too. Regal's an all time fave for me, so I'd much rather he had another 30 odd years in happy retirement than risked it all just to wrestle.

He hasn't looked well at all since he had that last bout of acute health scares.
I'm glad he has his NXT role. He is just perfect for it.

I think I remember him saying his insomnia problems have stopped since his latest neck surgery and he would never risk jeopardising that.

no but he'll come back as william beagle Nah. Lord William Widdle. Comes out in light grey trousers, dark piss-stain in the front.

He had a nice brief stint in NXT right before it really took off with the advent of the Network. I remember being so disappointed that his match with Cesaro on the main roster was this short afterthought match (they really treated him like nothing after 2011), so him getting a proper excellent match with him in NXT felt like the perfect way to go out.

If he did come back he could always watch a Baron Corbin match before bedtime.

His promo in his feud with Ambrose is the greatest of his career to my mind.

He had a great sendoff and final match against Ambrose, then they tried to recreate it with Kassius Ohno and it sucked.
