I know this might be redundant, but since they dropped entire season a day ago and I binge watched it all, I think this is thread worthy. I noticed others have done the same. Just thought it was ridiculous that we have to put everything in spoilers and you can't quote or really reply. So I wanted to start a thread for those who have watched the entire season and want to openly discuss it.

Ever since before Season 1, I was hoping they would get the original Cobras back together. But when it happened...damn, I did not expect it would be to have one of them die. Though in the final moments, I found myself saying, "Body bag! Body bag!" And of course, that was the final shot of the episode. It wasn't them trying to be ironic or funny, it was just a great sendoff for the character who became famous for that line. I hope Bobby and Jimmy can still make appearances in the show in later seasons. Maybe Johnny hires them when he starts a new dojo to compete with both Daniel and Kreese.
Another thing I just picked up on: Tory mentioned she had a brother, though we didn't get to see him. Maybe he'll be a rival for Anthony, and allow him to finally contribute to the story in some way.
Some parts of this season I liked a lot (the Cobra reunion, Kreese fooling us again thinking he's changed, Johnny and Daniel having another moment where they could maybe get along, the insane cliffhangers), others I thought were inferior to Season 1 (not enough interaction between Johnny and Daniel, Demitri and Stingray got annoying fast, I was also hoping for some Johnny/Kreese flashbacks besides that brief moment where we saw Johnny trying not to cry), but overall still a great show, and besides Daniel and Johnny, Hawk really stole the show this time around - he's morphed into the new Dutch, a psychopath who genuinely enjoys violence, and uses the dojo rivalry as an excuse.

don't know which thread to post in lol but anyway...
don't think Robby will go to jail. Given the circumstances, I think it can be ruled self defense/accident. Anyway I feel bad for Robby. Daniel wrongfully misjudged him as going back to his old ways, and imo he obviously didn't mean to nearly kill Miguel. Man this season was phenominal, you really get emotionally vested in all characters as faces even when depending on episodes, they can be heels. Except Hawk (douche) and Kreese, you really want all other characters to succeed. Really proud of Dimitri kicking Hawks ass. As funny as he was, Stingray/Chubbs went into unnecessary overkill. And lastly, as f***ed as it was. The Red vs Black capture the headband game of Coyote Creek looked really fun lol.
oh and another thing... "Tory with a Y" and the messages that are teasing an apperance... Tory is Ali's daughter right?

A lot of people speculated about Tory being Ali's daughter, but then Tory mentions her mom being fired from her job as a waitress since she was bringing food home to feed her and her brother, whereas Ali ended up becoming a doctor, and in the movies it was evident she came from money. I think the "Tory with a Y" was done as an Easter egg for the hardcore movie fans rather than a literal connection.

"Tory with a Y" and the messages that are teasing an apperance... Tory is Ali's daughter right? I just created this thread, because everyone that watched it is supposed to post it under spoilers, here we don't. Good points about the characters, besides Kreese and Hawk, everyone has redeemable qualities. As far as where we go from here, it will be interesting. Obviously Miguel and Robby are the key elements not only for the ending of this season, but really the entire series. I think Robby and Johnny reconcile. Robby now realizes Johnny actually cared about him and he has nowhere else to go. Initially I see them staying away from karate, as well as Sam and Daniel, but Kreese forces them back in. The question with Miguel is how does he react to Johnny/Robby? To me, Miguel's story is a tragedy, he doesn't seek the wrong actions/answers they just find him. Miguel will want Johnny to be there for his rehab, but Johnny might keep his distance because he feels he failed him. Even if Johnny decides to help Miguel, a Johnny/Robby reconciliation might push him to Kreese's side. Johnny will have a tough test trying to balance things with Miguel and Robby. Which leads to the whole point of this series, the characters finding balance. The saddest part of the season ending, is Johnny and Miguel, to me, were the closest characters to actually achieving balance. Robby was getting very close as well. Daniel's line about there aren't bad students, just bad teachers is an interesting one, as Daniel has been a terrible teacher, while Johnny has actually been a good one. Daniel is trying to teach Miyagi's ways, but he doesn't truly understand them or have the inner peace, forgiveness and patience of Miyagi. Daniel has not only completely failed at finding balance, but doesn't even seem to know how to find balance. Where as Johnny may be teaching Kreese's style of karate, but he isn't teaching the same lessons. He is actually learning from himself and his life experiences, he is learning almost more than he is teaching and learning from teaching. Johnny was on the right path to finding balance, by learning to forgive and realizing he can't change the past, but he change the future. Unfortunately, I feel Johnny will be on a dark path for the beginning of next season.

There will be a full on paramilitary war between the Cobra Kai, Miyagi Do, and Johnny's new dojo, the Viper Kai in the third season.
Only Ali can end this madness,

There will be a full on paramilitary war between the Cobra Kai, Miyagi Do, and Johnny's new dojo, the Viper Kai in the third season. Only Ali can end this madness, Ali will definitely be involved. Depends on how many seasons they stretch this out. I think 4 is the tops they should and could go. If they do that, my guess is Ali comes in at the end of next season. Also, another prediction is I think Daniel will stop teaching temporarily and certainly not want to train Sam anymore. I originally thought Sam would train with Cobra Kai, but considering Tory I doubt it, unless she goes with Johnny which I can't see happening. But now I think Sam will start training with Johnny and along with Robby will push him back into teaching. I think Demetri and the others push Daniel back in after Cobra Kai beats the living hell out of them and they need to learn to defend themselves.

This is such an amazing show. It was great to see Johnny’s friends back for a bit. Kreese was so good. He’s such a fantastic heel. Peyton List is going to be a huge star one day. She’s gorgeous and she’s a really good actress. I popped for all the subtle digs the show takes at how ridiculous some things can be today. I probably shouldn’t get into that but I appreciated it. I still get a laugh out of how stuck in the past Johnny is. The way he complains to the pawn shop because he doesn’t know how to use his computer or that he still uses an old people phone as my girlfriend calls it. His character might be my favorite from the show. The Sam / Tory rivalry was a fine addition to the Robby / Miguel rivalry that carried over from last season. There are so many shades of grey running throughout the season. I love that not everything is black and white. It really keeps you hooked on where the story is going. I can’t wait for season 3.

I hate Demetri. Lol like really, really, really hate him. Homeboy wanted to celebrate the popularity of Cobra Kai without being part of Cobra Kai. He went to Kreese to try to get in, and of course, had ridiculous demands like he was a number one draft pick.
Then we never see what happens, but he comes out with a bloody nose then wanted to press charges. Fast forward, he punks hawk at the party, then gets that BS lucky kick in and gets the winning line on him. His character was the only thing I hated about season 2.
Tory though was great. Especially with her side story which at least showed that she wasn't just a b**** just cause. And yea Peyton List is really cute. (I remember reading an article about a theory that Tory could be Terry Silver's daughter. I know he had a son in KK3, but maybe she was his kid that came out of a one night stand, so it could make sense that while his family was rich, her family was poor)
There better be a Season 3 lol cause I dont want it to end where Miguel is just in limbo. I hope William Zabka and Ralph Macchio are enjoying their resurgence cause it's awesome how a new generation gets to watch the two seasons and then go watch the original to see how everything started!
As someone who grew up in the Valley it's awesome that the shows story takes place their.

Yeah, how dare Demetri do that to Hawk. Hawk had just earlier in the season told his best friend "Snitches get stitches" when Demetri was talking about what Kreese did to him. He also got together with 4 other Cobra Kai students to threaten Demetri into taking down his Yelp review, and told him that if he didn't take it down, they'd take him down. And when they were reconnecting at the party, Hawk poured beer on his head. Demetri's reaction to all of that, and punking out Hawk at the party was completely uncalled for. Hawk didn't deserve any of it.

I'd rather face a White Walker than mess with Tory. That scene where she was on the PA system basically telling Sam she about to die was terrifying. If I was Sam, I'd be scared shitless, even if I knew karate.

I got my gf watching the show and even though she hated Hawk. She thought he should kick Demetri's ass. Also, we live in a small town an we don't run into people we went to school with as often as Johnny an Daniel run into each other. I like the Tory character but it would be to convenient for her to be the child of Terry. I'd like to see Season 3 go more into what Kreese has really been up to the last 30 years. I'd also like to see Daniel chill out and stop over reacting to his assumptions. He deserved to get hit after kicking in Johnny's door.

Yeah, a lot of kids that were involved with the brawl were there, but Tory blatantly instigated that brawl as well as apparently assaulted a faculty member and threatened to kill somebody over the school's PA system. If she wasn't arrested by the police then I fully expected her to be in hiding somewhere from them, not going to her normal karate class.

And if Miguel ever breaks up with her, I could see her coming after him like a psycho.

Demetri didnt wanna get with the times. I have an old friend just like Demetri. And no one is his friend anymore cause he acts just like him lol. About the high school fight at the end: Its 2019, the show is set in modern day and most schools are zero tolerance. Where were the police? I thought the moment the teacher got kicked and said he doesn't get paid enough he was going to call them. We could have at least heard police sirens.
